It's up, but I've been searching for a match for 20 minutes...NO LUCK :(
Agreed. I've been trying for the last hour trying to get inside a match, but I'm stuck at the start screen with the error "Error initializing session manager"
Time to fire up the PS3 and get some downloading done!
@LiquidSnack - Is that Ned Stark? Sad ending for that guy :(.
Game of Thrones FTW!
@stu888
As shocking/weird as theonlylolking's comment might be on RDR it's his opinion. People have different tastes, fact of life.
As for me, Red Dead Redemption is hands down my favorite game of 2010 without any doubt, and one of the best open world games this or any generation has seen so far. It is absolutely brilliant. If you love open world/GTA style games and you STILL haven't played this game, shame on you!
I played L.A. ...
I read the article about the abusive and harsh boss he was during the game and throwing stuff around like "It's my game. I can take it wherever I want." That's so sad. Had I known this I wouldn't have supported this dude in the first place.
Apple then released an update that blocked this MAC Defender virus. The MAC defender guys then released an updated version that circumvented Apple's update, putting Apple a step behind again.
It looks like Apple has finally joined the big boys. Welcome to real life Apple, where no one is 100% secure. How long will they keep this game up of lying to your customers??
Agreed. This notion that Mac users have that their operating system is the most secure since they are immune to windows viruses is an absolute pile of steamy bullshit. If OSX was the most secure then we wouldn't be having this: http://arstechnica.com/appl...
You beat me right to the punchline. I have 3 computers (gaming laptop, netbook and a desktop PC) all running Windows 7. NOT ONCE, and I repeat, NOT ONCE have I had a problem or issue that these Macies keep on screaming about such as problems with drivers, failing to work etc. NEVER.
This is a perfect controller, putting some design issues aside, such as the inward shaped L2 and R2 buttons which can be a bit slippery during gaming.
As for comfortability, I prefer the Xbox 360 controller. I have big hands and it easily fits in my palms without trouble. The position of the DualShock's sticks is not ideal for me (my opinion). I find myself bending my thumbs back a bit in order to grip them. But their accuracy/sensitivity and larger dead-zone compared to...
Actually clearelite's thinking is clever. He's gonna be able to pick up a PSP at such a cheap price, let's not even talk about the many games and the price he'll pick them up at. Soo many good games!
The PS4 and Vita are not launching at the same time. There's no need for Sony to divide attention.
Ah, PSP. You'll always hold a special place in my heart. This was the first portable console that met and fed my hardcore gaming needs, all accessible from my very pocket. :)
Ok, this talk about the PSP has given me quite a bit of nostalgia. It's been like 3 months since I last touched mine. I think it's time to pull it out and play some God of War (can't wait for the PS3 releases!) and Disidia Final Fantasy, Daxter or something else. All I know is that I ne...
Once again the media blabbering about stuff they don't know about. They (the media) are like your crazy uncle who's on a new drug and hasn't gotten the dosage right.
There's something that needs to be considered here. Last year, Activision had all the consumer base to themselves. EA and Dice were present with a game (Medal of Honor) that was set to counter Activision's Call of Duty release. This didn't work out in terms of sales.
This year shit is DIFFERENT. Battlefield is looking huge, and I mean HUGE! People have played it and without doubt they have declared it a worthy contender. It is a significant upgrade; and it's l...
Exactly my point. Instead of controlling what their kids are exposed to, they figured that it's too much work and they're too lazy, so instead they want the whole thing banned.
Ontario for sure :)...it's pretty blue here!
@kharma45
Mine is an i7 (extreme) with a dedicated GPU as well and the PSU has a rating of 185W. This thing heats up during some gaming sessions.
@Iroquois_Pliskin
I don't understand what your problem is. I'm simply stating the fact that if you compare the old fat PS3 to this new slim Sony did an amazing job sizing down power consumption without sacrificing any performance at all.
I'm also pointing out that the PS...
Uncharted came to mind, especially Uncharted 2's cinematics. Excellent work done right there like the very first scene where Drake meets Flyn at that beach...
I would've preferred for them to keep the lights on. Sometimes I need to check whether the PS3 is downloading something while I'm switched say to the Xbox 360. Sometimes my router goes down along with wifi access and the easiest way to tell this is by looking at the flashing LED in front of the PS3.
Yes, by now the 2500 model is the one to go for, if you want the quietest model on your hands. The slim is pretty freakin' quiet.
Now my PS3 is frozen...for the 5th time now! I've gotten into about 2 games so far and the frame rate went from okay to unplayable, like 2 FPS. Anyone else having this issue with quite a lot of LAG on the screen? IT just froze on my 2nd game. Time to reboot.
