Based on the fact that Microsoft's claim (that the hardcore would be the first to jump on the Kinect wagon) just didn't work.
So how do they convince this market to buy into Kinect, like their casual counterparts? Well, take hardcore games and implement Kinect. It doesn't sound "innovative" at all.
I'm pretty sure the hardcore will always choose the controller over Kinect, due to accuracy and responsiveness. Kinect could for example ...
90% free..hmm, if my math is correct, people will pay for the other 10% $5 a month...that's $60 a year or around $120 with Xbox Live. That's a lot of money, EVEN WITHOUT including the games themselves! Sounds like a ripoff.
That's true. This also might have caused some confusion among other people.
This looks very nice! Definitely very anticipated on my end. I hope them Xbox 360 guys and girls are ready to have their asses repeatedly kicked over and over again. Judging from the many hours I put into Demon's Souls, this is one freaking very hardcore game and I loved the sense of achievement the game gave me.
Any N4G story with the words "Sexy" and "Cosplay" in the title should NOT have the "Read full story >>". Once we see those words, we are going to look at pictures, forget about the article words themselves.
It's the new incentive that EA is doing to increase sales. For example, Dead Space 2 (PS3), the standard edition is no longer called standard, but Limited Edition. It's not like these copies will sell out, it's just a way to make customers buy them.
I remember when they refused to give out DLC for the PC version and claimed that the content wouldn't be available. Not short after that, someone with a corrupted game save discovered that the DLC was ALREADY on t...
I agree with the article. Vote with your wallet! If you don't approve of what they are doing, then don't purchase the game.
I believe Bethesda dis something similar with the horse armor DLC for Oblivion...and it's STILL SELLING.
The sad thing publishers such as Activision will do it and get away with it. Why? Because people are just too hooked and blind to even realize what's going on. $15 for 3 maps?? That's an insult!
Me too. The first one was and still is a blast. I think I should replay it and maybe get some DLC while I'm at it. :)
Looking forward to the sequel.
There's a reason why none of you guys above are getting a single agree vote. You're not getting it.
Good for you. I for one find it unreal...Well, people have different choices and likings...I'm more of a Battlefield person than a CoD one.
Such shit happens all the time in Battlefield Bad Company 2. Something that randomly happens is, if a helicopter spawns and is available for use, people will get in, but no one wants to be the actual pilot.
So 3 people get in, and repeatedly keep on changing, because all of them don't want to be the pilot but want the mounted guns.
It's true, you have to think before you just shoot. If you notice a couple of enemies in a room and you happen to carry ...
Oh god...Microsoft, Quality, please...QUALITY!
The Cheap road is not always the best one. You make tons of shitty games, expect little to very few people buying them. I know you want to focus on selling as much as you can, but in the true gamers' eyes, Quality will always triumph over Sales!
If this game does make it to the end of the tunnel into the light of day (I seriously doubt it) it will do very horribly.
It's priced at $59.99 probably for the reason that These are PSP games that are being remastered to HD (some work actually goes into this) from the smaller resolution of the PSP and also that God of War Ghost of Sparta just recently came out.
I want them to make the remasters awesome. Ubisoft for example, working on the Prince of Persia remasters just took the PC code and ported it over.

Bill Maher would always approve of stuff like this.
Thank you Mr rubio for posting this. Stuff like this is ALWAYS newsworthy! Damn, this is one of those times you wish you had an instant cloning machine...
Junior and I are going to play for a little while now.

@sikbeta
No worries, I just got bored and decided to do it. It's a tiny javascript program that does nothing more than pop up the words: "Amish hackerz find your friend very attractive! :)" in a popup box. I decided to shuffle it up into a mess like that because I felt like doing it :)
This is insane! I'm going to download EVERYTHING!
Edit: I'm not going to do this. This would be stealing from Ubi. They make good games and deserve my money. Plus, they should be done anyway.

Oh that sucks!

You have a point. If Kinect is there to enhance gameplay, then fine. The fact that it has limitless possibilities also inhibit a problem. Everytime a new game comes out, it has its own controls and gestures. The fewer the commands the better which means that it works best with simple casual games.
Imagine playing Bayonetta with Kinect...there is a limit to what can be done (even though ironically the ways to do it can be limitless). The control...
