Kellee Santiago and her company (ThatGameCompany) make unique beautiful game. I've enjoyed their 2 games flOw and Flower, absolutely beautiful. I look forward to this one as well.
They just slapped Activision right in the face. They are not interested in rushing a product to the market in order to make lots of sales. They are interested in making a good quality game.
6 times today that the PS3 froze due to the beta and I had to force-shut it down and restart it. Also 4 times I've had the game's framerate go to something like 3 FPS -- UNPLAYABLE AT ALL. I'll try again tomorrow for improvements.
I have come to the simple conclusion that this is a beta, and shit and problems are bound to happen in betas. At least we should thank them for releasing a beta so that they can spot these messy problems in the first place and fix them before releases.
Activision and Call of Duty should learn from this and make public betas. Had they done the same for Black Ops, the game wouldn't be as broken as it was at launch or as right now even.
