Steam is killing them on the PC front. They need to try harder!
It was just a matter of time. These guys and their bullshit have numbered days that are not increasing or remaining the same, but decreasing!
This to some might seem as the only drawback to the PSV. Imagine you won't be able to store games internally.
Want it longer? Play on a higher difficulty. I'm pretty sure it'll last longer.
He truly is an embarrassment to the gaming community. He's arrogant and thinks that he's made of gold or something. This is a trend that keeps on repeating over and over again.
During the period which beta codes for Gears of War 3 were being given out, he was making ridiculous requests...like "The first person to send me a picture of him giving his girlfriend a wedgie gets a code."
He's just overrated.
I agree. I don't find killstreaks appropriate.
EVO-OM3GA's opinion is absolutely right. Just yesterday while playing rush in Bad Company 2, there was an enemy tank that happened to be packed full of guys, all driving near one of our M-COM stations killing people on the way.
I was playing as an assault, so I ran next to the tank, placed C4 on it, and blew the huge tin can. I got lots of points for killing them, defensive kills from the M-COM station, ...
I'm glad there are no killstreaks. Killstreaks are okay and work fine in Call of Duty; they should remain there. I always find killstreaks encouraging only the individual instead of a whole team. People will do whatever it takes to get more kills but most importantly be at the top of their team list.
Someone with no skill will camp somewhere, rank up 25 kills and then pull a tactical nuke, winning for their team, which is just bull.
Hong Kong Phooey,
Number one super guy!
There are different views. The thing is hackers do illegal stuff. In this case, this 14 year old did this very wrong action and in the eyes of Microsoft he's got talent (which he does) that should be nurtured.
On the other hand, it looks like he got away with it. Hackers need to be punished somehow because what they do is wrong, regardless of their so called cause for justice. This is why Sony said NO to Geohotz and decided to sue him.
@asphogears
There seems to be a problem with Microsoft though. They first of all killed many 1st party studios. Hardcore exclusives are few. They thought that the hardcore could just grab up Kinect, like their casual counterparts, which was wrong.
Take a look carefully, they don't have lots of hardcore exclusives. Even if you add in Kinect, they STILL don't have games. They are going to have trouble attracting the hardcore to Kinect due to the very n...
@asphogears
Spending some seconds waving your hands in the air a couple of times just so that you can lift a droid spaceship and push it over RATHER THAN pressing a button does not scream the incentive needed to make this game a core game!
The novelty sounds awesome. It makes it sound like as if you have the force and this is what will sell the game big time. I saw the demo, it looked like a gimmick. It's an on-rails game. That alone should debunk it as h...
Not dropping the hardcore but shifting their focus more onto the casuals. This sudden focus is also lacking a balance between casuals and hardcore gamers.
From Microsoft's point of view, they will focus more where there is a potential to increase cash, and Nintendo has proven that the casuals will do just about anything. This is also causing Microsoft to close down/reduce the number of 1st party studios and think that multiplats and timed exclusive DLC will satisfy these ...
@captain-obvious
Also the PC version allows you to play online for free as opposed to paying for Xbox Live.
Something tells me that by signing an exclusivity deal, they are losing out on the PS3 platform. The PSN is a lot more open with their network policies than XBL. Let's just hope that Microsoft don't play their stupid game of limiting the amount of DLC from Minecraft. Getting Minecraft as an exclusive is a smart business decision on their end, as it saves lots of cash rather than say starting up a new studio. On the other hand, it appears as if they just stooped to a new low...going af...
I agree. There's a pretty high chance that Dust 514 will NOT go to the Xbox. Not because of exclusivity or stuff, but because of the nature of Xbox and Xbox Live and how Microsoft tightly controls their services.
Yes!!
These were trailers or CGs, not the actual gameplay footage. Besides, these games (such as Arkham City) will be out before the Wii U is out. We still can't say that it will look better than its console counterpart because we haven't really seen what it is really capable of. We'll have to wait and see!
Interesting addition to the storyline. Elena Fisher is a typical woman. I think she's one of the very few women in video games close to as reality as you can get. She's typical, tough, very independent...she's basically a different variation of Lois Lane. She's not oversexed with huge boobs or weird clothes, but she is still good looking as well.
I know all those games are coming to other platforms. The point here is, they are at least putting some focus on the hardcore!
Although I don't use IE, I'll always have it around. For example, I can't download either Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera first without IE after a fresh clean installation of Windows.
Not a very good browser (the latest edition crashes my laptop) but just handy to have around for testing purposes (like writing website scripts, designs etc).
