One thing is clear: Sony is making a lot of right moves gearing towards the launch of the PSV. Easier to develop for, good launch titles and an amazing price point.
They are clearly doing it the opposite (and right way) from their PS3 launch example.
Dark Souls is definitely one of my most anticipated games. I played Demon's Souls and I repeatedly got my ass handed back to me. It is hard, and really really punishes you for failing; but for some reason I kept on coming back, it's just sooo deep and engaging/rewarding as well.
It's good to see that they kept the hardness bar the same.

I wonder what Activision does this for. It's funny how they used to be so popular in the PC community, but now it's the other way round.
They should never have included in online trophies at all. I hate online trophies because they can ruin the experience especially if you are looking to platinum a game whose servers shut down.
Some games should NEVER have implemented an online feature in the first place, like Dead Space 2. They really didn't need to bring in multiplayer.

I'll be gaming in my 70s and later on I can assure you that. As long as this body of mine continues to live, so will this hobby of mine. It's something that brings me fun. Why would I suddenly give this up when I hit 30??

Same here. I've been gaming since...well, as young as I can remember. It something that brings me joy and entertainment.
I don't see myself suddenly stopping to game because I'm over 30 or because society thinks that I'm too old to game. As long as this body keeps on breathing, I don't see why I won't continue to game. I can see myself gaming in my retirement ages!
