As usual, Sony (like any other publisher/dev) will do everything and anything including taking blood oaths to deny its existence. :)
It's just a matter of time.
True, but looking at their EB Games' / GameStop's trade in policies, then the amount of profit they make selling and reselling and re-reselling used games is just ridiculous.
Some publishers/devs deserve to have their games pirated, as harsh as that might sound. People sometimes get pissed off by what these publishers do. They'll turn around and put DRM in your game, forcing you to play with an internet connection, even if it's just the offline story mode, resulting in a pathetic user experience.
Why? Because they're trying to fight them pirates. It's funny how it turns out to be the exact opposite: legitimate customers pay for th...
I was well aware that trollophobes makes no sense if the trollophobe happens to be a troll.
I was also well aware that someone wouldn't understand the joke. I could've said phobotrolls or homotrolls - but that sounds weird and makes no sense.
Awwww...look, he ran out of bubblies.
Trollophobes, to be precise.
Maybe...just maybe...bringing back PS2 games emulation on the PS3?
It still is a rumor, about Xbox 360 games being able to be played on a PC running Windows 8, but I'm not sure about the gold live account requirement though.
Microsoft did try to implement the same Live system to the PC, but it turned out to be rubbish - PC gamers were not going to pay to play online, and they changed it to free.
As for Windows 8, I honestly don't know. Playing Xbox 360 games on their PCs would be awesome.
Can't blame them either. HBO must have spent a fortune to produce the show - and it was money well spent because the first season was awesome :D
I don't understand why so many people are bashing this setting - it's at least a good change. Look on the bright side, they don't have to hire voice actors to imitate Italian accents!
If you've been paying the smallest bit of your attention towards tech news, you'd know that Apple is on a suing rampage.
That includes patent trolling all around the globe, from San Francisco to Germany all the way to Australia. Their claims? Patent infringement; which is a load of bull. They have the dumbest of patents - "slide to unlock" being one of them. How they were granted this patent when it was already implemented in other phones BEFORE they even ma...
You're forgetting about something - homo sapiens (human beings) only have 2 hands; there's only so much we can carry in both hands before we look very awkward.
Syncing a controller to a tablet would be a nice way, except that you'd need to be seated somewhere to play with a controller in your hands on your tablet. Wait, don't consoles have that part completely covered??
Doesn't matter if Apple builds an iPad 14 rivaling the fastest supercomputers on this planet - it still won't qualify as a portable dedicated gaming console like the 3DS or Vita - it will still be a tablet, nothing more, nothing less.
The crazy thing is that this is basically their response to the gaming sector.
I can't blame it. I mean, I remember first buying one - the damn thing could play DVDs! That was an awesome feeling. Then the hundreds and hundreds of games that I played through the following years.....probably best gaming years ever. That and the NES years.
Sometimes I wonder if Pachter is a Gaming Industry Troll, not Analyst.
Damn it! I must get my hands on one of them Vitas!
I don't honestly see why the MP is bad. ND took what they had done in Uncharted 2's MP then revamped the thing, made it better and a lot more huge. I honestly love it.
True with the syncing part. However I like how you can quickly assign a PS3 controller a different number with ease, without having to turn off the controller.
The 360 controller is a very fine sturdy piece of hardware. That controller thing is tough. I accidentally stepped on one placed on the floor and it nearly destroyed my foot.
I appreciate the fact that the batteries can be replaced, without changing the whole controller or tethering it to the console to recharge while playing. However it is annoying that the rechargeable pack is sold separately.
It SHOULD ship with every controller, basic or not. We shouldn't have to pay extra for this basic feature. It's a way for Microsoft to nickle and dime everything.
Some of the best indeed.
My brother played God of War Chains of Olympus on his PSP and he loved it. He had never played the PS2 versions so he went crazy when I told him that God of War 1 & 2 had been ported to the PS3.
It was a perfect way for him to get an introduction to the franchise and he later bought GoW 3. They should keep on making these awesome HD remakes IMO.
