I'm both a GAFer and N4G casual vistor. I started on N4G first but couldn't stand the juvenile nature of some of the users. It wasn't until the mods got serious on N4G and started to ban and remove stupid comments in the gamerzone. Its much easier to get into GAF when you have a professional email address. This is how they try and get a more mature audience. I do like the no nonsense approach of the mods. Be aware that if you want to get and stay on GAF, leave your flamebait comments be...
You guys already commented ... but seriously Cliff??? Seriously?
Guerilla, Crytek, Naughty, and Santa Monica have already surpassed your so called standards.
Not buying his comments. Some of the E3 demoes were running on Epic technology so there is bias in his positive remarks for the Natal
Give me third party comments or give me nothing!
I agree with Reggie. Not many times that I do but he makes a great point. Nintendo's job was to get the hardware out to as many homes as possible. It did that. The job of the third party is software. However, there is shared responsibility here. Nintendo has to do a better job of not approving crap to the market place. There was too much shovelware in the market that the buyer just settled on Nintendo only titles.
I don't disagree with you. I just would like to add that another theoretical strategy is that PS3 has to Move to compete against the Wii HD.
Mr. Greenberg forgot to take notes in class ..
US does not equal the world
360 had a running start
1.2 billion invested in the retention of loyal buyers because of RROD
Yes, the blu ray drive did make the system expensive. Its now 2010 and the blu ray drive is now giving PS3 games an advantage.
Crab, this looks pretty convincing to me. Granted, its a demo but I alot of potential of what you could do.

everything is paper technology until released ...
Despite my disdain for the Wii, I have picked up gaming on it again. I'd rather have a frame of reference when I eventually get Move in my hands. Agree with Matt. The technology is better. No argument there. The software that was shown at GDC however was not. Hope is that things improve as it gets closer to launch. I would like to see more of the LBPs, Resident Evils, and Socoms.
Don't disagree that they're next step is dictated by revenue. I don't think motion control is in their cards at this point. Square didn't jump at Wii.
I agree!!!
You guys sound surprised about these concerns! This point was made lound and clear on day one. Storage is a factor when it comes to HD gaming. If you want to compress everything and try to make it fit, go ahead ... but you compromise! 720/1080p gaming is nice ... but who wants low resolution textures???
That screen sums it up! I can't believe we are still having this argument!
The comparison is quiet simple. If you want what the developer originally scoped for Final Fantasy 13, go with the PS3. If you want the downgraded version, go with 360. Content wise, you get the same thing.
I would say the same thing for Bayonetta on the 360 although I was unhappy with the load times (later fixed with a patch) in the PS3 version
Nice! Its good that they are pushing the digital stuff while maintaining a parallel push for BRay. That is called hedging your bets :)
hey ... I just checked. I'm not butthurt.
That is right, ownership concerns. If it was SNBC and Sony partly owned the news agency ... I would still have the same ownership concerns. Its why we have other websites and review agencies. The 'hope' is that there is no bias in the reviews. That is a 'hope'.
One review I will ignore because of ownership concerns. Its like trusting FOX news to give a liberal view on politics!
You are right. I did a copy and paste of a post by Babylonian. I guess it did not copy well. Reference his post to get the links.
The scorn in your post tells me you got banned
