The only way this would be fair is to offer 3D mode as DLC. Then again the gamer will incur costs of muiltiplayer development even they don't know how to go online. At the end of the day, I don't see them charging a premium and going over the 59.99 price point.
E3 2010 will known as the time period where the shift from 360 lead dev went to PS3 lead. DSpace 2 looks outstanding!
How is it the best solution for the casual 'gamer' when they don't play 'games'? You mean its 'best' solution for the non gamer.
Not necessarily. PSP was released after PS2. Was it considered old tech? There are different types of 3D that can be used.
That can't be argued today. Nintendo is the king of the handheld as it stands. the PSP2 will come out. The question is at what price whether there are comparable versions to the 3D3. It would make sense to make a 3D PSP.
nope ... 200 or bust
This has certainly raised my eyebrows! Great move by Nintendo.
But it still destroy's discs. Couldn't they have fixed that flaw in the first Xbox 360?
PSP3D?
Improved graphics over PSP .. 3D using a similar system used by Nintendo?
Who sees it coming a mile away?
Hopefully Sony will make the right decision and put cross game chat and invite as part of the firmware update. Those types of features should be part of the OS and not part of the service package.
It's essentially like the netflix model where by paying a service fee, you have access to free downloads of games. It's not like you own any of the movies that netflix will send to your house.
Nintendo had a good conference. 3DS is pure win! Zelda Wii confirmed. Games are what will make/break Nintendo. They showed up well.
3D pictures and movies too? Wow ...
Sony better have something to show for PSP
quick question fellas ... the trailer shown on the screen is without 3D enabled right? I thought Iwata mentioned that they will have a 3D version on the show floor.
I guess you just came back from the Sony and Nintendo conferences ...
after and hour and 1/2 of boredom, MS gives away free new 360s to the gaming press ... great work guys! Where were the monster announcements? No shoulder taps this year?
<SARCASM> bravo ... well done Microsoft </SARCSM>
Somthing just not right on the presentations that Microsoft is prepping for E3. Its all choreographed! Show me live stuff, please!
This is exactly why she is a gaming host and not making business decisions!!
not sure what to say ... looks ok.
Why put all your eggs in one basket? You'll probably see the PSP2 and more 3DS stuff at TGS. Japan is home base for Nintendo and Sony.
I'm calling out now that you'll see ZOE3 or the next Metal Gear announced!
