36 million is peanuts. I'm sorry Tiberium but working in the finance industry has tought me that a 2 million dollar loss in a day is nothing when you've made 100 million in the year. 02 cents a share is peanuts.

So Sony didn't actually 'fix' the issue within 5 minutes of the problem happening and now the social gaming world thinks that Sony does not care about the gamer. You had updates on social gaming boards like the PS Blog and Twitter and that is not enough. I guess the social gaming world would like to know the technical details on what the problem is.

Now, its quite silly that launching/playing a game is tied to trophy synchronization. They SHOULD fix/remove that dependancy. ...

As a parent of two girls below the age of 2, this story just ripped into my heart. I'm a gamer, but a father first. As much as I want to play the PS3 when I get back home from work, I am responsible for their well being. Family first, everything else is second. This is the definition of irresponsible.

Actually interesting reading some of these comments. Its not a global meltdown of the PSN. Its not a meltdown of hardware. Its not a meltdown of Sony Corp. Relax. If you have kids, spend some more time with them. If you have a wife or girlfriend, give'm some tender luvin. Play your DS. Play your PSP. Heck, play your 360. Go outside. Do something other than complain article after article after article.

I need to see games by both devices outside of technical demonstrations

Playing Darksiders now and I can that this is one enjoyable game if you are a fan or God of War and Zelda. The battle system can be tricky with the number of upgradable components. The system is complex and its tricky to remember all of the combination. Couple this with a targeting system (a la Zelda) and you get a much more robust fighting experience.
