The concept of game sharing has been promoted by Sony themselves. I have 2 ps3's and have bought way more content because of the ability to transfer content between the systems. My brother and I take turns buying content that we normally would not buy.

to clarify .. I believe console going is going the way of the cloud. If Onlive kept charging and we the users kept paying, it would set the stage for pay to play cloud based services offered by Microsoft and Sony in the future.
