A lot of people give watch+dogs so much grief, but I enjoyed the game on the first playthrough. The online portion sucked, and the graphics were severely downgraded, and some bonehead gameplay decisions were made (you really can't shoot while driving yet the enemies can...huh?). But the game was a solid effort at a new IP. I'd love to see them flush out hacking a lot more.
To be fair, this is an opinion piece lol.
Every ME fan has their list of things they'd like in ME4.
For me:
-Better character creation
-Choices actually play out in further iterations of the game.
-Real time consequences of choices (like what happened in ME3 with Tali and Legion)
-Get back to RPG based roots. ME2 and ME3 felt too much like pure action games.
-Exploration.
This year it's strictly about the games, let's scratch off the multi-plats, we need to judge exclusives vs exclusives.
For x1 I'm looking forward to Tomb Raider and Quantum Break.
I think The Order will be the determining factor for who wins the exclusives war. So many PS4 owners got a PS4 for that game. That's why so many are feeling disappointed with what has been shown of the gameplay.
If that bombs out I can't see S...
It would be my dream if they didn't hide multiplayer behind a paywall..
2 weeks now..can't wait
Could it be that Gears had a lot more gameplay to it whereas The Order doesn't seem to possess that as a strength?
I grow tired of all this hate for the Xbox One. It's a great machine that continues to get batter. So far the only downside for me has been the lack of good games that placate to what I want in a game. And that's from both my Xbox One and PS4. 2015 has a few of the titles.
Cheers to a hate free 2015, let's all just enjoy our games on our console of choice without bashing one another.
I'm looking forward to The Division as well, but I'm not going to buy into the hype of it.
People are making a big deal out of this list, and it's cool and epic if you like indie or f2p games, if you don't and only enjoy the occasional triple A title then those 70 exclusives aren't a big deal.
I'm not into indie games, so beyond the order and uncharted 4 im just not interested.
My brother got a ps4 specifically for the order thinking it was going to be a standard 3rd person shooter with killer graphics. So seeing these vids might change his mind.
I don't mind the lack of gameplay if the story is amazing with some decent gameplay mechanics.
I played Beyond 2 Souls and Heavy Rain and I enjoyed both "games". They severely lacked on gameplay but the entire experience was a good one. So The Order may be something I end up...
In one breath Cindy you say that we should demand the highest quality game possible and then say that a game should be optimized for the individual platforms.
4k is quickly replacing 1080p as the standard in high quality visuals. So that cancels out the PS4's "massive" power.
The PS4 has the cool feature of shareplay, so that would cancel out the x1 and PC.
The x1 has the untapped potential of the kinect, as well as the abili...
personal gripes.
not necessarily true. project spark doesn't really appeal to a large audience. What the X1 is missing is a killer app. Hopefully we will see that change in 2015.
I was going to trade this in until I saw Gamestop was only giving 22 in credit. Smh, guess i'll grab this freebie.
They are hacker attacks, not an actual hack like last years data breach on PSN, but it's still a security issue.
And yes Sony didn't have to give away anything, but what they did give away was chump change when they've had issues time after time on their network. And I fully expect this type of attack to happen again.
We need to be honest here and hold Sony accountable for their lack of precautionary measures. Why are they the one network betwee...
I have to disagree Eddie, owning both systems and multi-plats on both, you really can't tell the difference graphically at all.
I like using my kinect to navigate, but beyond that I don't use it gaming wise. I also prefer the X1 controller as it doesn't make my hands sweat and the thumbsticks feel a lot more comfortable than the DS4.
The two visual standouts I've owned for both are Infamous SS and Ryse.
Both looked fantastic ...
The power isn't coming from thin air, it's just that MS realizes that Kinect isn't going to be a necessity in gaming, so why not free up the resources for improved optimization?
it's not much at all, but something is better than nothing. But I fully expect more attacks and downtime in the future so I wouldn't be getting to excited about this compensation.
Dying Light..oh you better be the zombie game i've been waiting on lol
decent list. i'm not sold on no man's sky though.
