The game plays really smooth. If you're a techie maybe you'll notice something you don't like, but if you're into having fun, this is the best Battlefield to date. I'm enjoying my free time with it on xbox one and look forward to playing the full game next tuesday.
a game that's only a month old still needs promotion and usually get it. For promo to be dried up so quick for The Order is essentially giving up on the game. I think about the likes of a Titanfall, promo for that game was still going strong months after release. Same with The Last of Us, etc.
However, now all eyes are squarely on Bloodborne.
I still enjoy playing it from time to time, they need to add more guns though.
It's too late to win this generation sales wise, where you can seriously compete is in locking down exclusives, first party triple A games, pushing cross-platform play, reducing the price of XBL since PC gamers are getting it free, and continue to improve the console.
Phil has the X1 right where it needs to be, back to focusing on games.
I wouldn't necessarily say TR was to be a response to UC considering UC is pretty much a direct copy of the game. But in a sense I can see you're saying they were supposed to matchup sales wise. I fully expect TR to release on time, especially a rumored delay of Quantum Break.
The more interesting thing for me though is that The Order bombed and now UC is being delayed. What happens if Bloodborne doesn't do well either?
I think it will score well...
Trying to do cross-gen titles at this point is asking for problems. Yeah it sucks for last gen gamers to miss out on future titles but that hardware has seen its best days pass them up.
The sooner devs can accept that and the lost sales, we'll start seeing infinitely better games.
Just enjoy the games, and to say there was a disparity on this subject would only be accurate if the XBOX one didn't have a single 1080p, 1080p/60 fps game.
I think the X1 had a bad rep and undeservedly so, when we know that devs are the one's making the games. The hardware may be limiting but as time passes it's being optimized more and more.
As I've stated from day 1, if you're only interested in games that are 1080p/60fps, hey that'...
watch dogs cutscenes looked great but in-game look washed out and bland. i still enjoyed that game though. And saying The Division has a massive graphics downgrade is just being silly.
MW2 was amazing, and so was MW3 ... i haven't liked any CODs as of late
if the game works well that's all that will matter in the end. BF4 was gorgeous to look at but horrible to play.
that 720p though... can't lie that sucks but i'm so interested in the story plus i already have it downloaded on my xbox one so oh well. can't wait to play.
@Skizelli, comcast suspended their data cap. I've been with them maybe 2 years now and there's no data cap anymore.
DEC I used 293 GB
JAN - 214
FEB - 380
lol, this digital age of gaming / tv streaming is ridiculous.
i didn't play the first witcher, but i did get tw2 on 360. try that one out first. it's not really that long of a game.
This will be the lead contender for game of the year. Finally a witcher game built with consoles in mind, the gameplay looks way more polished than the witcher 2.
i had this game pre-ordered since it was announced and I can't wait to see how the great story ends. (i didn't read the books)
A person worrying about cost shouldn't have gaming as a hobby? Can you sound any more elitist? Everybody isn't rolling in dough, when you fall on tough times let's see if you have that same attitude.
different gamers have different things that matter to them in gaming. why is that so hard to comprehend. To me length of games matter, so does gameplay. But sometimes I like to take a shot on a different kind of game. I played both Heavy Rain and Between 2 souls..both were graphic powerhouses for the PS3, both had unique gameplay, and both offered bridging storylines...both were freaking amazing to me.
I look at a game like The Order and it's coming up short on the thing...
Saying you'd have no reason to buy the console for a lack of exclusives is a dig for the sheer fact you had little information to go on from the get go, yet you still bought it right? So why complain about it now instead of just enjoying it?
And yeah if a kid feeling like committing suicide over dumb stuff I'll question their decisions and intelligence too since you want to try to bring personal attacks to a gaming discussion.
Nobody was blind buyin...
take your console back, problem solved. no disrespect but i'm tired of hearing people say the same thing over and over like this generation of gaming didn't just start a little over a year ago.
There's so many future great games and exclusives to come for both consoles, so why not just enjoy the ride instead of looking for a reason to take a dig at a console?
people never satisfied these days, that's what's ruining gaming.
To me it entirely depends on how far the timeline has moved from the initial ME series. If it's 5-20 years then sure my previous choices will determine some vital things in the world's lore, but if it's let's say 50+ years past those events, the saves really wouldn't matter much.
Also we need to consider the canon aspect. Nothing sucked more then seeing some choices you make in ME1 get switched in ME2 due to canon.
Now Sony has some secret sauce for fall eh? Sorry had to stick it to sony extremists at least once lol.
Now on topic, the games you mentioned may appeal to you but not to the masses like an UC4 does. Metal Gear should be a good pickup as usual but the rest of the stuff you listed isn't the kind of game i'm personally into.
You can scrap the unannounced titles until they are actually announced.
