I guess people can't think objectively about this game. Any negatives and it gets called hate, any positives and its fanboy love.
It isn't unreasonable or hatred to point out how The Order was and is the PS4s first true nextgen game. The initial trailer had everyone excited and while I can't speak for most people, my brother and I instantly got hooked.
The more info that came out, black bars, lack of actual gameplay, linear, QTEs, the more that ...
I'm right there with you. I haven't enjoyed BF multiplayer since BF3. The guns have been too sporadic and at times I felt outright cheated out of kills, pouring clips into a guy that turns around and 1 shot kills me.
The story in Hardline is what caught my attention. I tried the BETA the first couple days and while it played a lot smoother than BF4, it still felt like more of the same old same.
I hated the trailer on the singleplayer though, talking ...
I'm not surprised to see so many people drinking the koolaid about how great this 'game' looks. I'm more concerned about how it plays.
If it looks good but plays horrible it will be a failure to me like Ryse was.
Bugs..okay I'll give you that. Are they gamebreaking? Not even close. The duplicate glitch is actually pretty cool and makes the game much more fun.
Fetch Quests..point me to a game in this open world genre that doesn't do fetch quests. That's a problem with these type of games, not the game itself. There's also challenges, and safe zones to take over and a whole host of little secret things to discover in Dying Light.
Nothing new... I'd ...
So far it plays a lot smoother than BF4.
Nah don't bash it, let's just sing it's praises. I remember Ryse getting destroyed for some of the same criticisms. Where was an article like this then? But because this is the first exclusive to PS4 that's supposed to be a big hit, nobody should criticize it? Now that's ridiculous.
By far Dying Light is the best way to open up 2015. It's addicting and the OP weapons makes it ridiculously fun.
there's a skill that makes your weapons last longer. I like the way the system is setup though, it forces you to adapt your gameplay from time to time.
I don't think it will hit 1080p natively on either console, I could be wrong, but it will still be a beautiful game.
In case of CD Projekt Red, I can believe the hype. The witcher 2 was amazing outside of the stiff movement . Now they built the witcher 3 with consoles in mind, so the gameplay should be way better....The Witcher 3 will be the first next-gen game that's a must have for any platform.
i'm still interested in this game although I can see the writing on the wall that it will be a AAA flop compared to the hype around it. 6-7's across the board.
Nothing but a reskin of previous games. The only thing new is the ability to arrest someone from what I've seen so far. If it runs good I'll get it as I didn't buy BF4 to live through that atrocity.
I doubt it, I remember a worse release problem when Payday 2 came out. It only came out on time for the PS3 and PC, the x360 was totally forgotten about, and that's how those devs treated the game post-release.
I think this is just Warner Brothers dropping the ball in these areas. For a while it was supposed to be a full multi-plat game with old-gen and current-gen releases. Maybe that tripped them up, who knows. But either way, this gen has proven going all digital may ...
Same here, I remember seeing a trailer and some images and thought wow i'm interested in this game.
Glad to see it's still in existence.
Gave us nothing, but it wasn't down as long or as frequent as Sony's network...sooooo yeah.
I don't get the hype behind this game either. Different strokes for different folks.
If you were getting an xbox one to begin with you would have one by now. 4/10 for your trolling efforts.
If I understand what he said is that developers will have more control over the CPU and GPU with DX12 allowing them to harness 50% more power and performance. So the games themselves will be a lot better and we definitely won't see much of a disparity with the ps4.
While it's more than what MS has done for it's downtime, it's still a crap deal. Why put a time frame on the discount when you can just make it expire for whoever uses it?.
@HiddenMission and Chevalier,
To say Infamous was a next gen game is doing a disservice to the series. Yes it had nextgen visuals but that's it.
Also if you'd both actually read what I posted it's clear I'm saying to stop hating and praising this game before playing it yourself. That will be the only way to determine if it's the game for you.
Also, yes the PS4 is selling well, again if you read what I said you'd see t...
