I haven't played a MGS game since Sons of Liberty. I'm looking forward to simply enjoying Phantom Pain by itself and then worry about the convoluted story later.
Right now they have cool offerings. Preorder a game from MS Store and get $15 in rewards credits.
I got $80 in credits so far so that's a free game and a nice discount on another one.
it sucks because the rebates were pretty cool. I dropped from 3 stars to 2 and I was 20% away from being a 4 star. Yeah it sucks but whatever, I still get a cool kickback.
same here. i like taking a shot on lesser hyped games like Mad Max. They did to be cult hits.
Run strikes, nightfalls, and try the raids. You'll get plenty of drops and coins. Use those to get better gear and just chill until TTK. I think the current cap is 34.
Another week of saving coins for the launch of TTK
I've had it twice and dismantled them for the shards.
Barely impressive? Troll much? The list of bc games will continue to grow over the years while the competition will still be charging you to play your old games.
Played a little of the beta and it's definitely a lot smoother than ghosts and aw. The game returned to relying on gun battles rather than jumpy mechanics and massive maps. The graphics aren't as bad as people make them out to be. It's no The Order, but it's definitely not horrific looking.
I'm a level 32 hunter...my point is that to jump levels without going through the game naturally hurts the player and anyone they play with through matchmaking.
Whatever happened to working for something in gaming? It's one thing to grind for gear but to just jump levels without work is ridiculous. There's a lot of nuisances that go into Destiny that only get understood through experience.
I've been playing a lot of Destiny and will continue to do so but I'm looking forward to all the new gaming experiences that are less taxing.
nope beta still launching as planned. check the gamespot article.
That sucks. Most of the attention will be on the other shooters by then. I imagine sales are going to suffer a bit.
yeah there's just too many quality games releasing to drop an extra $40 on DLC.
I get the humor of it, but let's compare what we've seen so far from the other open world RPG that released this year in The Witcher 3. That's a direct apples to apples comparison...from what we've seen so far is Fallout 4 better than TW3?
It doesn't even come close in my book.
The author clearly enjoys fallout, but to put GOTY in the bag for a series known to have terrible bugs..I wouldn't hold my breath on that. I don't get the hype of fallout, but millions of people enjoy it. I for one didn't see anything impressive.
Deus Ex is marked for a 2016 release so the lack of hype is warranted. AC Syndicate is suffering from the backlash of Unity, but diehards will still grab that game on release. Hitman has a confusing release set up but again diehard fans will grab it immediately.
I never liked the hitman series but I really got into absolution.
2 completely different genre's and fanbases. Tomb Raider may take the edge in overall gameplay and visual prowess, but Fallout has a big base and will win in sales easily.
I haven't played a fallout game that wasn't buggy as heck and that held my attention. But millions and millions of people love the series.
Mad Max getting killed for being too redundant yet only a few are calling out MGSV for the same thing. Both are stellar games in their own right but both are filled with redundancy.
Makes me appreciate the variety of missions in the witcher 3 even more. GOTY
