I wholeheartedly agree. It took Bungie a year and a half to realize that people like loot not grinding. They made exotics easier to get, made the light level super easy to level up and basically just made the game enjoyable again. I hope Massive takes a cue from Bungie, let the good loot rain upon us.
People will hate on you for bringing up QB but I won't. It's a heck of a visual masterpiece on a console that folks swear can't do quality visuals. ND no doubt crafts some beautiful games, but UC4 is just the latest in quite a few stellar looking games this gen. I wouldn't say they're kicking off the graphical revolution, as its already begun.
I fully expect a visually stunning game, but yet again buggy and laggy as all heck like the usual battlefield game.
I look forward to the 30 hour campaign, but unless they did something drastic to improve gameplay and visuals from the beta, i don't expect many to pick this up. the beta was TERRIBLE.
how can you say the game isn't great when you haven't played it? O.o It looks terrible? Again, you haven't played it...
QB is polarizing you'll either hate it or love it or both. I love the game itself and the show is awesome, but I hate there wasn't much there. Most of my time was spent hunting down collectibles which took away from the game itself.
In total my first run through the game was 17 hours. Yet it still felt entirely too short...
just because you don't fancy it doesn't mean it's no good. my buddies and I enjoyed the waves of enemies and testing out random guns for kicks. everybody won't like what you like..that's okay, i promise.
How much time did you spend in the DZ? Yeah the gold drops were far and few but they happened. I got 2 MIDAS' in the DZ in about an hour. Now gold drops so frequent and you can either use it for the materials or recalibrate.
Falcon Lost is really good and the blueprints for highends have been there since day 1. You just need to get phoenix credits. Most of my high ends before the patch were due to blueprints and crafting.
ha i need to do this.
Halo 5 is mediocre honestly, and Gears of War 4 hasn't been released yet.
what? it's not being marketed with gaming being it's core function unlike the kinect was. There's no hype to Hololens, they had a couple demos that's about it. Now VR, that's all the rage with gaming at its core..let's see how that plays out.
Reputable according to who? Anywho, I expected the game to be polarizing and the usual MS bashers. It's a truly awesome game that you have to play for yourself to really determine which side of the fence you're on. My only gripe is that it isn't long enough, I hate that I'm almost done. I want more time gun battles and more of the awesome writing and show.
There's nothing broken about this game, some folks might not like some mechanics to it but there'...
I only played the first act and it is beyond beautiful visually, and the action is fast-paced and fun. Dialogue is witty and the characters have depth. The first episode was worth dropping the controller for 20ish minutes.
Remedy cooked up a killer masterpiece that ties in the game and show without feeling corny or uneventful.
Easily the first legit must-have game for the Xbox 1.
there's still GOTY hype-worthy games coming down the line, mainly Deus Ex.
Can't wait. I hope it's not another heavy shooter based game though like the last game.
Shenmue is a cult classic, it will sell regardless. Will it do huge numbers? No, but oh it will be profitable.
I hope more devs take creative risks. I'm tired of seeing the same game reskinned over and over and over again. I can't wait to see how QB plays out, I have it preordered and preloaded.
I keep seeing this compared to The Order. QB looks to have more there game wise though and The Order actually wasn't a bad experience, if we look at it as that, an experience. It was short on game mechanics and just short overall. But it was easily a 7 or 8ish out of 10 for me.Bot...
I guess they just wanted more of everything. An awesome game just not enough of it. Is that worth docking 2 stars? Only they can answer that.
they get access to better gear based on their rank. if you'd check the vendors you'd see that.
A level 71 took 2 clips from my pakhan and it did nothing to him. Meanwhile he insta-killed me.
Nice list, I'd also like to add:
-check team's gear ratings and stats
-dz level restrictions. I'm only ranked 21 in the dz and continue to be insta-killed by players ranked way higher and with better gear. It's infuriating and players should only be allowed to fight others within their rank.
-Fix the matchmaking bug that stops the mission from launching, or sends players back to the safehouse.
I definitely enjoyed the game. It didn't live up to what the devs described as far as customization and matchmaking was beyond terrible, enemies were ridiculous bullet sponges..but overall it was an enjoyable experience despite the glaring issues.
