I'm thinking that's due to levels like Destiny is. The higher your level and level of your gear the more damage you do. I'll definitely see during the BETA.
i spotted the moonwalking too lol. But it looks great and it looks fun/
If people really thought engine based footage of a game to be released years later would be the final product, I have a bridge I'd like to sell them. The game looks fantastic. At some point I hope we start judging games by how they play and their fun factor rather than graphics and numbers.
But anywho, I still enjoy Destiny but it still has many flaws, especially now that year 2 content has dried up. If The Division releases with strong content right off the bat it would...
i'm not sure about that. there's no real sense of parkour in DL. It's very basic while in ME you could wall run, you'd roll when landing from a high jump etc. It just appeared more in-depth.
have we had any real next-gen gameplay experiences?
Simple, people just don't want to ever give MS credit this gen. Every time they announce something great for gamers, we have this segment of folks that beat it down as being terrible.
EA Access - Oh this sets a bad precedent, and their games are terrible anyway. Why would we want this on PS?
Backwards Compatibility - If I wanted to play my old games I'd just play my old consoles. Then get quiet when Sony charges you a premium for their service to pla...
i believe that game is using peer to peer rather than a dedicated server so that explains a lot.
It's relative to what you like, but gamers will win in 2016. Uncharted, Quantum Break, possibly Horizon Zero Dawn, Gears....let's hope we have some fantastic surprises as well.
That was great
If we start holding games accountable for launch issues then we can get rid of all the gaming awards to date. There hasn't been a game that came out to my recollection that didn't require a day 1 patch.
Meaning they've all had bugs, glitches, etc., and that's been since the 360 / ps3 days.
same as the first one. hopefully the animations will be a lot smoother this time around.
A lot of quality titles, but I have most of them already lol. I did want to grab Need for Speed until I heard it was online only though and again have a lack of customization.
Hard Light is pretty good after it was buffed last year. There's no damage fall off and close to max stability.
it's a fun game and one that runs smoothly unlike recent iterations.
We have better looking games on consoles...that's no excuse. Siege isn't ugly but it could definitely be improved considering the visuals we have previously seen. Star Wars, The Order, the list can go on honestly.
I always kept an eye on the series but the gameplay always threw me off. Sleeping Dogs and Rise to Honor is what I was expecting I guess.
truth. it's easily one of the best games of the new gen so far.
it doesn't look as terrible in-game. It's no looker but not terrible. The best thing about it is gameplay. It's challenging at times.
it's a worthy contender, my GOTY though is The Witcher 3.
It is disappointing that so many touted features have been changed or removed from the game. Given the development time you'd think this wouldn't be the case. But if the reasoning of the changes or removals was for more core content I'd be all for it.
So far all we keep hearing is about how something was scrapped, surely the game wasn't just stripped down and pushed back for nothing at all right? One can hope.
We shall see. I'm already a...
