What's wrong with the Switch? State of the Art graphics isn't Nintendo's wheelhouse. They aren't interested in competing with Sony/MS and the PC market. They'll continue to make Switch games as long as people keep buying the system in droves.
Good Graphics =/= Good Game.
What you can rely on is that Zelda has good gameplay. You choosing the pirate a game that isn't even out yet because you deem it to be too expensive is a shitty rationale. Piracy is usually only condoned by the community if there are no modern options to play the game reliably. We're talking about the latest Zelda on a current gen console.
Also, I'd be super worried about internet honeypots. TOTK is arguably the ho...
Piracy doesn't hurt sales? Huh? It literally is how you hurt sales.
Of course people are. And while I appreciate that gamer hustle to experience the biggest game of the year first, I'll wait a few more days and get an actual copy of the game.
MGS2 literally predicted digital manipulation of information that we see today all the way back in 2001. MGS2 became Zucc's playbook.
Heed not the lamentations of people that say that MGS2 is bad because of the Snake/Raiden bait and switch. Every MGS game has its own merits, and while most people consider 3 to be the best, they all shine equally in my opinion.
If it wasn't for the retconning of how FOXDIE works, including clunky scenes with Naomi and Liquid, MGS4 would be a perfect game. There are so many gameplay options. It felt like us PS3 owners got something truly unique and special.
E3 2021. Redfall is announced with a cinematic trailer. The trailer is underwhelming, bland, and devoid of personality. Everyone is excited for Redfall. May 2023. Redfall is released. Reviewers are calling it bland, underwhelming and devoid of personality. Also bugs. Everyone is dogpiling on Redfall.
I'll always advocate ultimately playing something yourself before regurgitating whatever your favorite reviewer says about the game.
That being said, ever since this game's announcement trailer, it's looked bland and uninteresting. It's certainly not a day 1, full price title.
The fact that you wrote "non-hetero romance", qualifying the type of romance as your target of vitriol, tells us everything we need to know.
Bruh. Give me some of what you're smoking.
Preventing social revolutions by putting lesbian relationships in games? That's a new one.
Nothing is being "shoved down your throat".
Stop using that phrase. LGBTQ+ folks exist. Existing isn't shoving an agenda down your throat. Would a heterosexual pairing be "shoving the cis-het agenda" down the throats of LGBTQ+ gamers?
You use The Last of Us as an example of some kind of "go woke go broke" moment. TLOU2 has sold over 10 million copies and is the fastest selling PS4 game of all time. It performed so well th...
What does a pentagenarian look for in a game? Games are largely about catering to a power fantasy, else they are strategic or puzzle type games. There has to be a win condition, otherwise you're playing The Sims. I would argue that gamers over the age of 50 are maybe just not participating in the gaming marketing machine enough to know what games are even available. Are we talking exclusively console gamers over the age of 50? Because that would make more sense than a 50 year old with a s...
An article talking about how excited someone is for a game that really has zero hype. Hmmmm. Smells like marketing.
GTAIV is without a doubt the most underrated game in the series. I appreciate that even that is a controversial statement. In 2009, you couldn't go anywhere without hearing people quote Roman. Lots of people hated the feel of the driving (although, arguably, IV's driving was the most realistic in the entire series). People called the cover system played out and boring, not knowing that it was here to stay as a staple of modern game design. Fast forward to present day, and almost no on...
Anti-competitive behavior is one thing, buying up the largest 3rd party developer is something way different.
Didn't you guys just buy Bungie?
For all the flak Fortnite caught over the years, it really did become the only name in BR.
No one is preventing them.
Numerous builds of the game, including some versions that have locked framerates, ensure that if a leak occurs and the game gets out in the wild, only so many people at Nintendo will have had access to that build, narrowing the search for the leaker.
