strange they haven't reviewed FiFa 08 and had a head to head section in the reviews, Folklore certainly going by the demo looks beautiful but i'm not sure if it's a purchase Hot Shots Golf certainly is and probably Pro Evo.
Having got myself a copy of SEGA Rally today i reckon it deserves an 8 but thats only my opinion
all i read on these forums are comments like

yes i agree this game is incredible, i have just done the scene where you have to save Narikos father who is walking towards you by shooting arrows with the crossbow using the sixaxis motion control to guide the arrows,headshots have never been as satisfying
just panning the camera around to see the scenery it truly stunning

EDGE were never going to give Halo a bad score, they are very big fans of the franchise and have always championed the series

I'm from England and the Halo3 launch hasn't caused anything other than a few games stores opening early just like they do for other hardware/big game releases.

Sony didn't kill SEGA, SEGA killed themselves with the Saturn as it was a 2d powerhouse as SEGA underestimated the consumer demand for 3d unlike Sony with the original Playstation
SEGA only have themselves to blame for now only being a software company

Free Radical will deliver, they made a massive leap when goldeney came out and lets be honest it was a big gamble which paid off bigtime, Haze will be a fantastic game i doubt they are even trying to beat Halo or make it a Halo killer.

Even tho i agree with what you are saying because it's true he was merely pointing out recognizable characters in the gaming industry.

i go along with that, i expect Ratchet & Clank to be a big seller this Christmas as it's a massive ps2 franchise with lots of fans who will buy into it again.
same goes for UT3 that for me is a system seller even tho it's a massive franchise on the pc the cross platform modding and keyboard/mouse support may encourage some pc gamers to buy into the playstation brand.

A very interesting post you have made which raises certain issues i also agree with, surely Sony should have known or knew that the 360 strength was it's Live service.
Granted you have to pay for it and the peer to peer service isn't great but as you state like using your own music for games and being able to check messages while ingame all of that and more should have been available from day one on the psn.

this does look like another ps3 game i'll be preordering, regarding the online multiplayer thats not what Rachet and Clank is about nor would it suite it. This type of game is what single player is allabout, i love multiplayer games like Graw2,Warhawk or R6 Vegas but R & C has always been about the single player experience.
I'm pleased they haven't bolted a multiplayer aspect onto the game that doesn't fit the genre and concentrated on a superb single player experience
