This is the exactly attitude that annoys me and clearly outlines the review structure which many magazines and online gaming sites use as it stands is clearly flawed, if Assassins Creed does average an 8.5 how is that regarded as a letdown.
An 8.5 should or used to be regarded as a must have title, there are far to many 10's being given out by reviewers these days.
From what i have seen this game is very ambitious,has massive potential and at this unreviewed stage still ...
I wouldn't call RARE crappy the stamper brothers were a phenomenal success starting in the early eighties, at the time Microsoft bought them they had made several stunning titles on the n64 and one good effort on the gamecube, granted their 360 efforts have been pretty poor in comparison.
The best they have done is Jet Pac remake for xbox live and that is stunning, the sad fact is most of the people that made Rare great left when microsoft bought them

The first Halo was stunning, it had lots of wow moments something Halo3 doesn't have. As a single player game Halo3 is nothing but average, multiplayer the Halo franchise is a phenomenon but i find it lacking,
i had my first foray into Halo3 multiplayer tuesday night and it left me very underwhelmed.

that wasn't worth posting was it, Famitsu are the Japanese equivalent of EDGE magazine here in the UK ie hard to please, they will slate any game if they beleive it deserves it.

no Lair isn't a great game, it starts off well but soon turns into a mess where you don't actually know what you are doing and quickly becomes confusing.
The sixaxis control works well until you need to pull off a quick 180 turn or a charge attack, then the controls become very hit and miss, i quickly became tired even bored with it after the fourth mission and have no i9ntention of loading it up again, it's a beautiful game to look at with a stunning musical score.

do you actually know what you are posting, Kameo looked gorgeous granted it has a colourfull cartoony graphical style, Drakes isn't that concentrates on real life enviroments and reality

it looks simply incredible, a mix of Tomb Raider,Lost,Indiana Jones and 24 all rolled up into one stunning looking game.
going by the videos i have seen of actual gameplay this game looks set to win many awards for it's art direction,animation and graphical style

i also hated the demo but the final released version is good, it's a blast online but for the moment only allows one on one, i have heard EA are planning a patch to allow up to five v five.

Mass effect sure looks a stunning title, you 360 owners are very lucky to get this from a very respected developer, i'd love to see it on the ps3 but i can't ever see that happening.
I hope it turns out to be a stunnig title and by the looks if it it's going to be just that, a good game is a good game irrespective of format so enjoy !!!
