can anyone confirm what the comms are in the ps3 version
are they open comms or do you have to press L3 like in Warhawk ??
It certainly looks stunning, even tho i don't own a 360 a great game is a great game and it's looking like Mass Effect is looking to be just that.

i agree but it's also the same the other way round, the ps3 could handle any game the 360 has, both are superb consoles which are at this stage equally as capable as the other. It seems from devs comments the ps3 "may" start to nudge ahead graphically sometime next year, time will tell

i liked the demo but i'm not sure about a purchase as so many games are coming out over the next few weeks at this stage this may have to be an impulse buy in a few months time.

I am a UK gamer and always steer well clear of GamesTM, to put it bluntly it's been an awful magazine for a long time, it's only saving grace is the retro section.
It just wants to be Edge magazine but falls well short on every aspect,
They call themselves a games magazine made by gamers,

incidentally Edge gave Ratchet & Clank an 8 and did nothing but praise the game, they gave the same...
i have no crystal ball but i think the odds are stacked in the ps3 40gig selling quite a lot corner, i think this is what potential ps3 owners have been waiting for
absolutely wrong on all counts, graphically Virtua Fighter 5 is stunning on both consoles so are titles like Sega Rally and Virtua Tennis, you seem to be missing the point all Sega titles are pickup and play arcade games on a home console.
Virtua Fighter 5 is one of the deepest games you will ever play and calling Sega titles to simple is ridiculous, infact it's bordering on blasphemy.
As for you comment about the Saturn, it wasn't hard to develop for it has some superb...

Bloodysinner Sega are on record as stating they rushed the ps3 version to get it to be a launch title, i just hope they release a patch to add the extra but i doubt they will

I own a ps3 and have been loving this game since i bought my ps3 in april, the shear depth and complexity to the game mechanics are incredible.

I'm not a big fan of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the ps3 and NG 2 looks like it's going to be of similar style gameplay wise, EDGE magazine have an indepth article on NG 2 and it looks stunning, a shame it appears to be a 360 exclusive as all gamers regardless of system should be able to sample such graphically beautiful games.

all i can say is i have no issues with framerate ingame on the ps3 version but it does stutter and slowdown a bit during 2some" close up cutscenes, this also happens on the 360 and pc versions
both the ps3 and 360 versions look identical and anyone who claims other wise is just daft and or blinkered
Looks like November is looking likely to be the best yet for the ps3 especially with Ratchet & clank coming out on November the 9th for us English gamers

in my mind i suspect a new Jack & Daxter game is already heavily into development,there was a 30 minute special on Unchartered last week on the Bravo channel here in England, they interviewed some of the Naughty dog team and were shown around the development studios.
they talked about every aspect of Unchartered, it was a very good program, it looks simply amazing, a guy showed you what you had to do to get up into a tower and retrieve some keys.
