you hear so much bull on PSN or Xbox Live that half the time i would rather hear no one talking, altho i am lucky in one respect to be part of a ps3 clan with about 40 members who i have a great laugh with.
It can be good if you game with the right people or fall lucky in a certain game, altho i have been going solo on cod4 stat whoring and at times it's just laughable the stuff you hear.

seriously i agree the graphics are incredibly detailed, the story is fantastic which drags you into the game and holds your interest or it does for me. atm tho i can't drag myself away from Cod4 multiplayer but i will be taking my time with Assassins Creed and basking in it's obvious beauty
i totally agree reviews these days are severely flawed in so many ways, so is the insistence on AAA when what actually is AAA far to many maximum scores are issued these days. Not so long ago a 7 was classed as a good game this generation a 7 is frowned upon as a failure

I received my copy of Assassins Creed yesterday and during yesterday i played my ps3 on my 42inch plasma and later my 28inch Lcd.
Neither display offered such a washed out image as what we can see in that comparison video, both offered a visually stunning vivid image.

HS is a phenomenal gaming experience that imo gets everything right that includes the length, it's a game that i felt a connection with, something i havent felt for a while.
It just does everything right with a level that stands out a mile for me,
protecting Narikos father with the crossbow as he's limping towards you from the guards is a phenominal level.

regarding UT and it's status, as a franchise it's unsurpased i think the hundreds of thousands maybe millions of UT fans are just laughing at you righ now.

It seems to me that in all honesty it's not hard to develop for the ps3 which Infinity Ward have proved as they have built both games from the ground up on both the ps3 and the 360 with nigh on identical results.
The problem seems to be "porting" games from the 360 to the ps3 and or when the 360 is the lead platform, thats when some developers have experience problems.

it's obvious they are giving the game a overhaul, the game as it stands in it's US incarnation isn't as bad as many would have you believe but i got quickly bored of it.
they must be working on an analogue control option, i also hope they change the voices as the voice acting in the many cutscenes is woeful, the camera also needs some work as does the structure of the game.
