I don't understand, Kionic. The statement was vague. He might have been talking about gameplay and level design, graphics, or any other elements of the game. There is really no way to be sure.
@Solja
Microsoft have made their mistakes, and Sony has made theirs as well.
Yes, that's a great reason to own something... "but but...my neighbor owns one, so it must be good". Puhlease.
You guys are such followers. I'm getting a Zune HD because it has a better feature set than the iPod and happens to cost less. I couldn't care less what other people own.
I am getting a Zune HD. I like it better than the iPod Touch, and it is cheaper too!
Why are you such a flaming fanboy, suunyd? Why are you trying to turn this thread into some kind of fanboy war again?
I don't remember anybody saying that the PS3 having a user upgradable 3rd party hard drive was a bad thing. It is one of the things I like most about the PS3's hardware. Smart move on Sony's part.
Dumb move, Microsoft. We need bigger and more affordable hard drives for our 360s.
Sounds good. I am definitely picking this game up.
Just curious, what is your new tv? I just bought a new Samsung LN40B610 that should arrive within a few days.
Damn, I want to play it now, but I didn't pre-order from Gamestop, I pre-ordered from Amazon. Oh well, not long to wait for the open demo and even the game itself. Uncharted 2 will be my favorite game this year (yes, I am that confident), just as Uncharted was my favorite game the year it came out.
What an idiotic comment.
This is a crazy story. The student probably didn't mean to kill the intruder, but from what we know so far, I think the student did nothing wrong. He probably got into a tussle with the robber and with adrenaline pumping and the desire to protect his own life it lead to the death of the criminal.
This should be a lesson to any criminals. If you break into someone's home, steal their property, and make the home owner feel threatened don't be surprised if you end up hurt or dead...
Actually, it seems like OPM are kind of hard on Playstation 3 exclusives. They don't seem biased to me. Then again, most magazines that people claim are biased probably really aren't biased.
How do you know until you've played it?
Must exercise constraint....
I want to watch this video so bad, but I want the game to be a fresh experience when I get my copy. Oh well, less than a month to go.
Screenshots are not a very effective way of comparing games. Performance is far more important, and unfortunately you can't see that in a screenshot. In fact, differences have to be pretty substantial before you will notice them in a screenshot.
I don't know why some of you hardcore PS3 fanboys are pressing so hard for Xbox LIVE to be free. If LIVE becomes free, it will take away a major talking point and advantage of the PS3, and will make it more apparent the ways in which LIVE is better than the PSN.
It honestly seems like the hardcore PS3 fans are more concerned with LIVE being free than the people that actually use it. Which doesn't make much sense, if you think about it.
How an extreme fanboy like sunil has the audacity to call a more neutral gamer like butterfinger a fanboy is pretty laughable. Butterfinger might not be totally impartial, but sunil is nearly as radical a fanboy as they come.
You know, I was just in the Uncharted 2 review article expressing my excitement for the game and I saw very few Xbox 360 fanboys. And a couple that were there, like Mart, actually were praising the game and saying it deserves game of the year. But why is ...
Like any product, it is worth it if you think it is worth it, and not worth it if you don't think it is worth it. For me, it is worth it. I really enjoy what LIVE has to offer and the fee isn't too high. PSN has been catching up though, so Microsoft are going to need to keep evolving the service to stay ahead (which they have been doing). Anyway, I like what the competition between the two companies is bringing to us, the gamers.
Wow, it's going to be an incredible game for sure. If it is as good as I think it will be I don't know how it wouldn't get game of the year. The first Uncharted was, in my opinion, the best game to come out that year and I think it was a little under-appreciated (even though it did receive a quite favorable critical reception). I really hope this one gets the full recognition that it will almost certainly deserve.
I can't tell crap from those screenshots. Both versions look about the same there and I don't understand where this huge difference is. I guess I will just have to go play both versions myself.
Anyway, the real advantage of Sigma 2 is all the extra content and improved camera. Those are the real reasons I will buy Sigma 2. If it looks better as well, great. But I don't really see that in these screenshots. (The first rule of screenshot comparisons is that the shots should be...
