The thing is, arguing about those things is also stupid and pointless. Some people do it, but they are wasting their time on this planet arguing about something that is of little or no importance.
I play games. Consoles are just devices that allow me to play games. They all have games to offer, so why would I worship one and hate another?
Fantastic update, Naughty Dog! You guys are the greatest. The rest of my day will be dedicated to Uncharted 2. Truly appreciated, guys.
Naughty Dog deserve all the praise they are getting. They are truly a class act. GOTY, without a doubt.
!Genial! !Que noticia mas buena!
Really, this is great news. I loved the first game and the Fort map looks really beautiful. I can't stop playing the multiplayer because I just find it more dynamic and fun than pretty much anything else out there. Uncharted 2 is truly the best game of the year.
@Bubbles_Kitty_Kat
I don't agree at all. Uncharted 2 has one of the most fun multiplayer modes of any game. This was recently brought home to me when I went back to playing Gears of War 2....and wow, Gears 2 sucks in comparison. It is so slow and clunky and just isn't as dynamic and fun as Uncharted 2's multiplayer. Uncharted 2 is a great all around game and is a very nice feather in the PS3's hat.
What the hell are you talking about? If you look at the overall library of games on both consoles the PS3 has more games that run at sub-HD resolutions than the 360. There are a lot of multiplatform games that are 720p on the 360 and sub-HD on the PS3. Even one of the PS3's biggest exclusives, MGS4, is sub-HD, so I don't get you PS3 fanboy's point harping on about the sub-HD resolution of Halo 3.
I agree that dismissing games like God of War 3, Heavy Rain, and The Last Guardian is seriously flawed. I am especially looking forward to God of War 3 and The Last Guardian, but I am keeping an eye on Heavy Rain since I think it has potential.
On the other hand, I think many of the PS3 fans above are just as flawed in their thinking. LeonKennedy4Life said "The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo 5, and God of War III still aren't coming to the 360...so, the only peopl...
Can the arrogant Sony trolls please leave this article alone. If you don't like Halo then you have no reason to be here. Coming into such articles just to criticize Halo or put down its fans is lame.
I'm 31 and I enjoy Halo quite a bit, and so do a lot of people I know that are around my age. Halo isn't my favorite game ever, but it is a damn good game.
It's sad that whenever something becomes highly successful there is always a certain childish mentality waiting ...
Wouldn't surprise me. I played both versions of the original Assassin's Creed and the PS3 version felt like a glitchy mess compared to the 360 version. It looked blurrier, had more screen tearing and a lot of frame rate issues. That's why I am going to get the 360 version of this game.
The first one wasn't a pile a sh*t, you just have crappy taste in games. I would like to know which games you like, so I can rip on them and show you just how boring, generic and derivative they are.
I agree with Madusha, the first one was excellent and this one looks so much better. Great job, Ubisoft.
@presto
Why would you want a bunch of pirates to come over to the PS3?
In any case, I doubt they would want to go over to the PS3 unless they can pirate games and rip the developers off.
I hate people that pirate games and I am glad Microsoft is doing something to deal with them. It won't stop piracy, but it will certainly help and at the very least is giving those morons what they deserve.
Not according to the Lens of Truth comparison, which actually took into consideration performance characteristics of both versions. The 360 version apparently has less screen-tearing, a more solid frame rate, and slightly better textures.
Which 360 fanboys are going into meltdown in this thread?
It seems the PS3 fanboys are the ones that start saying how horrible these comparisons are every time the 360 version is shown to be better.
I own both consoles and I like knowing if there are any differences between the two versions of a multi-platform game, even when the difference seems small to some people.
No, what will own in 2010 will be being a gamer that plays all the good games that come out on either console. I will be very happy in 2010 playing games like Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Splinter Cell Conviction, The Last Guardian, and Halo Reach. Loser fanboys are the ones that lose out.
I am definitely taking a wait and see attitude towards Natal, but I do think that its potential is exciting and I look forward to see what developers can achieve with it.
I don't know why hardcore PS3 fanboys even feel the need to come in here and try to denounce Natal. It's an exciting piece of technology and it's obvious why it has many gamers excited by the possibilities. Will it succeed? No one knows. But why be so damn negative about it before we've even seen what it wil...
I don't agree. I will always respect Nintendo because they were a big part of my childhood, but I think it is pretty obvious that Nintendo takes the fewest risks of the three console manufacturers. They stick close to their few core franchises (Mario, Zelda, Metroid), the don't really invest in much new IP, their consoles have very conservative specs and design, they were the last to get on the online bandwagon, etc, etc.
Microsoft came into this industry when there were two st...
You want to know what's really shameful?... the way a bunch of know-knothing gamers are willing to hang Ubisoft out to dry based on compeltely unsubstantiated claims by one German game magazine that most of us have never even heard of.
What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? With you guys I guess it's "guilty until proven innocent". *Shakes head*
That was funny, Soda Popinsky. Bubbles.
Maybe, but if you think about it, the 360 supporters can say that the reason they acted that way is because of the way they were treated last generation. I had a PS2 and an Xbox and the way most of the PS2 fanbase acted towards the Xbox was just despicable. I liked both consoles then just as I like both consoles this generation, but this whole "well, I deserve to act like this because of something the 'other side' did in the past" is just a vicious cycle and gets us nowhere.5937d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment
