The internet has really slowed down sales of game magazines. I remember there used to be a lot more, but right now the only ones I can thinks of are Game Informers, Official PlayStation Magazine and that's about it. If I can get information for free online, why would I pay to read it on paper?
This magazine, however, seems to be trying a different approach. I like that it's going to try appealing to the older demographic of gamers. I might just have to check it out.
I don't think games are bad at all. As long as parents are there to keep the children in check (limit their hours, make sure they're playing appropriate games), it should all be good. That's just my opinion though, but I can see what you're saying. Playing with toys requires more of you (mentally) than playing games. I agree with that.
UC2's story was fantastic. There wasn't a single moment where I got bored. One of the best stories ever told in a video game. Has any other game ever sweep so many awards like UC2 has? (I mean, it's winning most of the stuff it's nominated for on the majority of game sites).
The PS3 is just getting started. While MS is STILL trying to pull out something as great as KZ2, Sony is far ahead. UC2 pushed the bar and GT5, GOWIII, and Heavy Rain will push it even farther. By the time MS reaches KZ2 level games (if that's even possible) the PS3 will already be far ahead.
I wonder just how much ND can do. They took 18 months to craft the highest rated game of the year, and one of the greatest games ever. UC3 can only continue the success. Can't wait.
New Super Mario Bros is awesome. A lot of fun and well worth the 50 bucks if you have a Wii.
Another year, Another PS3 lineup full of AAA exclusive throughout the year and some great multiplats. Can't wait for January 26 :D
So? Ico and SOTC didn't sell that well yet they're some of the best games I've EVER played. Sales =/= quality. The game will be rated much higher than Call of Duty, Halo, or even GT5.

They already took down the video. Anyways, I'm probably going to buying it day one as well. I loved the original on the N64 and I hope Rare can carry on the brilliance to the 360. fingers crossed.
If it didn't sell that good on the PS3, how in the world would it do better on the 360? (a console where only shooters sell well)

Gaming began with arcades and I'll always remember those days. I still play them whenever I go out to the mall, but it's obvious they're just not as popular as before. Still, I'd say it's a good cause.
I would have loved this on the Ps3. Oh well.
I haven't played it so I couldn't say for sure, but some people say it's great and others say that it's not as good as previous FFs. I say we just wait for it to come out and try it out and then make a decision.
Greatest TPS would go to UC2 in my opinion. It nails the cover system far better than Gears could ever hope and it's more fluid and a lot more fun. Besides, playing gears on Insane is rather easy, but playing UC2 on crushing is damn hard. Still, bot are good games.
SONY is just gonna keep pushing boundaries. Thanks to them and their very talented devs we have been able to actually experience TRUE next generation games.Without them, all games would look like multiplats and we wouldn't have masterpieces like LBP, MGS4, and UC2. Sony and PS3 FTW!
