I don't hate Nintendo at all and I like many of their franchises. All I'm saying is the wii was a success because it offered a new way of playing which casuals liked. With the next Nintendo console motion controls won't be enough and they will have to think of something new and inexpensive. If they try to compete with PS4 and Xbox 3 there will be no chance. That's the thing, they really need to think about.
We should all just be honest and we all know Microsoft and Sony have ZERO chance of gaining a portion of the wii market. Natal will be very expensive (above $100) and that price is too much. The PS3eye is around $30-$40, so if the wands are cheap Sony could release a bundle with PSeye and 2 wands from maybe $70-$80. Both Natal and PS3 wands will enhance user experience, but they will not take a piece of the wii market and in fact, Sony has the upper hand. If the wii people want an HD system t...
Well, you guys talk about imagine this and that and RPGs that work with Natal, but here's the thing. Unless Microsoft themselves make these RPGs and FPS there will not be Natal Support. Third Party development studios probably won't bother with it unless Microsoft pays tons of money. Seriously just think, who would bother making an RPG like that (other than Microsoft who've only got Fable 3 as RPG). In the end, Project Natal is dependent on price and third party support. Sony has tons of firs...
This is a great year for the PSP!
I've gotta admit, he's saying the truth. Microsoft do know how to put a good show and that's how they impress people. Either way, both were good (though I'd say Sony was better since their games interest me more).
I wasn't aware there was a "motion control war." Last time I checked it's just two products made to enhance user experience on each console.I'm impressed with Natal, but I think Sony's approach will be a bit easier and faster to implement. Microsoft will have to seriously rely on 3rd party developers to make content for Natal (Since MS only has like 4 studios). On the other hand Sony has 20+ studios and can dedicate some of them to making games that can be used with the motion contr...
I'm looking forward to GT PSP. I was pleasantly surprised when the October release date was announced out of nowhere. This is definitely a day 1. The PSP is getting so many good games that it's just unbelievable! :)
Project Natal is impressive and it may lead to other companies making advancements; however, project Natal itself will not bring all this changes everyone is talking about. It has potential, but we should all wait and see before getting to hyped up and then possibly getting dissapointing. Same thing with Sony's motion controls. Who know's how accurate they'll be when they release or what kind of support they get. We should just wait and see what both products will bring to their consoles.
The obvious answer: Project Natal. Just look at all the hype around it and all the articles about it. That's just a non-biased way of looking at it and that's the answer to the question poised above. Whether we liked it or not and whether is real or not, Project Natal generated the most media buzz.
The video was obviously edited as Milo is just a prototype like Sony's motion controls. This is dissapointing; however at the same time, it's just Microsoft showing us what can be possible with Natal. In the end, I've got to admit I was impressed with it; however I still have my doubts. We will all just have to wait and see.
Though this guy is kinda mean with his fans, i mean he refused to sign copies of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, he is still a good developer and his next project should be looked upon with anticipation regardless of what console it's on.
All I'm saying is both games will be great regardless of their ratings and sales and both should be enjoyed by their fans. That's all, I don't get why people argue over which is better when obviously both will be great.
Project Natal is something that can be very revolutionary; however, it is also something that will be very hard to pull off. For it to take off, Microsoft needs the support of 3rd party developers. Microsoft just doesn't have enough internal first party studios to output enough games made specifically for Natal. Now then, I'm sure Microsoft will find a way around all of this problems; however, if a controller is indeed needed then doesn't that defeat the purpose of the so called tagline "...
The PS3 has more chances of catching up to the 360 than the 360 to the Wii (just look at the difference). The 360 has been selling at constant rate, and so has the PS3. The 360 is only ahead because of the one-year head start. Though the Xbox 360 has established itself in the console market the Playstation brand is still more well-known throughout the world (not just here in the USA). The 360 derives almost half it's sales from the United States which means that the PS3 with a price cut (and ...
Forza 3 will be a great experience for Xbox 360 owners and will have unique features that will give it great make it a great addition to 360 catalog. GT 5 will be an amazing game on the PS3 which all PS3 owners will enjoy. IT will offer a large amount of cars, tracks, and many other features that other racing games can't offer. BOTH games will be great. Now then, the developer claiming that they have no competition is seriously an unbelievable claim. It's almost guaranteed that GT 5 will outs...
I completely agree the Sony had the best show first of all because they announced a lot of new games coming to PS3, and also because of the huge boost that they're giving the PSP in terms of software. I'm actually exited at getting a PSP GO in October. With that said, this is getting ridiculous. This site is supposed to be about NEWS, but the only thing I find is articles about OPINIONS and not games. Seriously, there's been so many articles proclaiming victory for MS, SONY, and Nintendo and ...
We all know you want this game, but just face it, this game will not go multiplatform. I really don't think Sony will loose this one and as stated in other posts, Microsoft is too scared to invest in unknown franchises. They only go for the big ones and/or try to rip-off and copy well established series.
That statement alone proved that a fanboy, not a journalist, wrote this piece of you know what. Seriously how can they even say that when Rockstar clearly stated that it was a PS3 exclusive.
Happyface is it really so hard to understand that it's a PROTOTYPE. It will not look like that when it launched which I'm which will be much sooner than Natal which had no live demonstration at all.
Microsoft has a lot of money but they'll still need strong third party support. Unlike Sony, Microsoft only has 3 or 4 studios and thus without third party support(in other words lots and lots money) Project Natal will go unsupported thus leading to it's end. Some people will buy it but when word gets out that little to no games are coming that support it that is when Project Natal will simply fail. As much as MS wants to, they will never have a monopoly in the video game market like they had...
