Crysis is a really fun game. People pay too much attention to the graphics (and I don't blame them), but the game IS actually a lot of fun.
I also wonder what 3rd parties are doing with Natal. We know devs are making games for BOTH motion controls and we haven't received much info from either. We know RE5 and LBP are being reworked with PS motion controls and we know Burnout Paradise works on Natal. Other than that we don't know anything about either.
PS3 has had the best games since 2008 and will continue it's winning streak in 2010. While the 360 will have a much better year, the PS3 still decimates it. I mean, just look at all the PS3 games for just the FIRST HALF of the year:
MAG
Modnation Racers
Heavy Rain
Yakuza 3
God of War 3
White Knight Chronicles
GT5 (if it comes out by june)
3D Dot Heroes
And that's just of the top of my head AND, these are all TRUE exclusives....
GOWIII, GT5, Heavy Rain, Modnation Racers, WKC, and the list goes on. Great year coming up.
2010 is gonna be awesome especially if you own both consoles. If you haven't picked one up, I'd say go with PS3. It's got a lot more exclusives coming out along with all the great multiplats.
It is a fact that if you don't own a PS3 you WILL miss out on some of the most innovative, generation defining games such as LBP, UC2, MGS4, KZ2 etc. If you don't own a 360 you don't really miss anything big, other than more Halo and that's it. The 360's highest rated game is at 94 I believe, while the PS3 has like 3 exclusives that are rated higher. Not to mention the huge lineup of TRUE exclusives next year. PS3 is full of win and like the PS2 before it it's THE console for gamers.

The 360 shouldn't be there. It has great software, but it IS one of the biggest hardware failures of all time. FACT. I would put the Wii instead of the 360.
The PS2 did a lot more to deserve a spot on the list than the 360. More games, more exclusives, more sales, more quality, the list goes on. The PS3 simply continues what the PS2 and PS1 began.
How would MS be responsible? Other than creating a lesser console, they had nothing to do with FFXIII's problems. It was all SE's fault. They promised big, but unlike ND and GG they did not deliver. Or so it seems. Again, I'm gonna wait to actually play the game before passing judgment on it.
Yep, the game was promised to be this huge genre defining game by square enix and it all went okay... that is until they announced it was going multiplat. Ever since then it seems the game has just not been as good as expected. I'll still get it, but my hype is for FFversusXIII not FFXIII.
Just bought them on the 360. I haven't played them much but from what I can see they're pretty awesome and fun, especially The Ballad of Gay Tony. Lost and Damned is good, but not as good imo.
Not just single player, but overall.
Even if it did drop to number 4, given the huge numbers last week, I'm sure it still sold a lot. Besides, the attach ratio for the game is insane.
Actually, the 360 had a 1 year AND a half head start in Europe. makes it even sadder for the 360.
Sony's lineup just keeps getting better and better. They're putting the competition to shame. LBP sweeped the GOTY awards last year (including AIAS), UC2 did it again this year. PS3 is where the games are.
Everything that's free now WILL remain FREE. The only thing Sony is charging for is extra OPTIONAL services. They're not forcing you to pay to play half of your games like MS. They're just offering more for those willing to pay. There's nothing wrong with that.
I think PS3 is far ahead of the 360. When Sony announced that they had sold 10 million, MS announced they had sold 9 million. By now the lead must have grown a lot more, especially with the slim, price-drop, and the soon to be released GT5.

I'll have to disagree with that Ali. The PS3 controller is, in my opinion, much more comfortable. I like both, but I do prefer the Dualshock. Why? Becuse the 360 gamepad has many flaws:
1. D-pad
2. Uses batteries
3. the analogs are not as responsive
4. the face buttons are a joke
5. I don't like the position of the analogs.
6. LB and RB are too small and kinda stiff.
Dante's seems like a good game, but it's definitely a GOW clone. The only thing missing is the epicness and PS3 exclusive quality. Thankfully, PS3 owners don't have to choose as we have the option of getting BOTH. PS3 FTW!
Is the game good?
Sony actually takes chances with new IPs and ideas. It's one of the many reason why I prefer the PlayStation brand. I mean, think about it. Without Sony, GTA would never have gotter as popular as it did. Without Sony, we wouldn't have LBP (MS turned it down becuase they don't allow freedom). Without Sony we wouldn't be anticipating Heavy Rain or 3D Dot Heroes.
They take chances instead of sticking with shooter after shooter or Mario after Mario.
