Sales is the only thing a certain group has and therefore they have created the myth that if a game doesn't sell 2 million on day one it's a flop. What these people fail to remember is that the LARGE majority of games never even reach 1 million and if they do it's considered a success. Most Sony exclusive reach 1 million and a lot reach 2 million. That is amazing sales and should not be looked down upon. Besides, sales =/= quality.
Halo has amazing music. In fact, the music was the only thing I enjoyed from Halo 3 ODST. I have all the soundtracks and they're great.

MS has tried EVERYTHING. They're the cheapest, they HAD (not anymore) the most JRPGs, they got Star Ocean 4 exclusive.. They have tried pushing the 360, but it STILL doesn't come close to the PS3 or Wii. Sure, it's done a LOT better than the original Xbox but still.
MS should focus on Europe. Right now the PS3 owns Europe and Japan, and if gaining ground in NA. The 360 will continue to stay on top in NA, so they should focus on Europe (Sony should as well).
The Wii is gonna own December in sales, not the 360. The PS3 has already pwned the 360 in games, so what does the 360 get? nothing.
PDZ was the very definition of TERRIBLE. I know it got around an 80 on metacritic; however, I'd rather play Haze than PDZ. I'd rather play that terrible Wii game (about the cats) than play PDZ. I don't know why, but I despise that game so much. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw up.
Anyways, they better not screw up the re release of PD on XBL.
I really wish they'd give it a rest. These type of music games can easily be supported with DLC packs every once in a while. There's no need for a full 60 dollar game every three months.

Golden-Eye was the game that proved FPS could be done on Consoles and that they could be very successful. It revolutionized console gaming.

No, but I will loose respect if they make stupid choices or claims. I'm just saying that for the first time in a long time I agree with GameSpot and their choices are spot on. If a 360 game deserves an award then so be it, as long as it's the right choice (and this year, there's really no 360 games that deserve awards).

Wow, Gamespot has gained a lot of respect back during these last few days. Their choices have been spot on. If UC2 wins GOTY, then there choices will have been the best.

Kotaku, what a joke. The media bashed KZ2 constantly and when it came out it not only achieved what it set out to do, but SURPASSED it. Now all the naysayers have to eat their own crap and they handle it by calling KZ2 a disappointment. Kotaku is a joke.
