I'm surprised they gave it GOTY. After all, they're amongst the most bias websites out there. Still, they gave UC2 a 10/10 as well right? It was only obvious which game would win. UC2 really has no competition this year.
Yea, but this time it seems like it'll come out true. On the PS3 alone there's many exclusives. Combine them with 360 exclusives, multiplats, and some Wii games. That's a hell of a lot of games to get.
Melee weapons are fast, but they're the worst idea. The tank will instantly kill you if you get close to it.
A stargate MMO would be awesome. I remember getting really hyped for this game only to be crushed by it's cancellation. It was looking really awesome and I think they would have pulled out something great. Hopefully, they'll make a good stargate game one day.
Yea, that's bound to happen when you release 6 Guitar Heroes, 1 band hero, DJ hero, and a new Rock band in ONE year. That's way too much and almost all of it could just be DLC for current Rock Band/ Guitar Hero games. No need to release a full game again and again.
You can do a lot more on the Wii than you can with Natal. Just look at all the lag in the tech demos. It's full of fail.
If you hadn't been cheap and bought a full priced PS3 with EVERYTHING gamers want right now, you wouldn't be complaining. Sony offered all these features and people complained. Sony took the features to lower the price and people STILL complain. You can't have both, choose one and stop complaining.
I have home installed and there's always a lot of people on it so I don't see how "everyone has it uninstalled?" How about you explain that logic? Just becuase the PS3 got better content doesn't mean you have to put it down, lol.
There's a lot of good games on the Wii, even for hardcore gamers. Yes, there's a LOT of shovelware and crappy games, but you can always find a good amount a great ones (especially Nintendo's first party). The Wii IS part of the console race and the only reason people exclude it is becuase it's destroying the PS3 and 360 combined.

2010 does look great for the 360. I'm personally gonna get a bunch of games on the 360 (ME2, SCC, Fable III, Alan Wake, and Halo Reach + some multiplats.) ; however, I really think that 2007 was the peak of the 360. I mean, there were so many games to play back then. 2010 looks great, but not as good as 2007 was.

The 360 doesn't belong anywhere on the list. Here's why:
1. PS2 sold tens of millions more and had a MUCH greater impact across the WHOLE world (not just NA)
2. The 360 is one of the worst, if not the worst technological failure of all time.
3. The only good year was 2007. 2008 and 2009 were near barren and 2010 looks to be the same (more games, but still not even close to the PS3's quantitative and quality).

2010 is going to be a great year, especially the first half. Right now I think I'll only be able to afford 1 game in January and the rest are gonna have to wait. After that, I hope I can get Heavy Rain and SCC and then I have no idea. Perhaps there's too many games, but I'm sure we'll manage.
Bioshock 2 is gonna be awesome. I'm looking forward to what they do with the story and I'm sure the gameplay is gonna be as great as the first. Not to mention the incredible atmosphere.
Um, Alan Wake was shown years ago wasn't it? The only PS3 games that really took a long time to come out are KZ2 and GT5, so that excuse is not valid.
And Sony HAVE shown something. Did you magically forget the various tech demos AND the demonstrations of LBP and RE5 used with motion controls? In fact, Sony has shown a LOT more than MS, becuase so far MS is just all talk. The few times they have shown something it looks laggy, kinda unresponsive, and overall boring.
