Actually yes I have. I have a PS3 and a PC.
I love the online parts in Demon's Souls. But the difficulty is way over rated.
I would say Dragon Age is easier but that is because I micromanage like a motherf*cker and plan out everything perfectly.
Like I said, I laugh at people when they say Dragon Age is a multiplat game. No it isn't. It is a terrible port from Bioware, but that is because Bioware clearly designed it only for PC.
oh lord. The graphics part. Listen, DA:O looks good on PC. Don't talk about the PS3 and 360 port. Seriously, if Demon's Souls was a 360 exclusive, all the N4G PS3 fanboys would be bashing it.
They already released texture mods and what not, so the graphics look good.
Unless you played DA:O on a PC, then you can't compare.
And, I forgot that great graphics are more important than in RPG than story.
Not only that, but Eidos, their publisher, hasn't made a good game for a long time, so I'm pretty sure Rocksteady had to work their asses off.
Where as ND is an experienced dev with a budget from Sony
They deserved it.
Big time. Why IW was on that list, I don't know.
A developer that you have never heard of.
Comes out and beats all the odds.
a more rich experience? Right, the story in Demon's Souls blew me away.
Dragon Age is far more immersive. Demon's Souls replay value consists of playing the same exact thing over and over again. New game +
Dragon Age's main replay value is the huge number of different choices you have, and 6 different beginnings.
wow all you people complaining about it are dumb sh*ts no offense.
The game is crap on consoles.
On PC, it is way better. Dragon Age is casual? When it was released it wasn't. Bioware had to release two patches to make the difficulty easier sadly.
lol it plays like Mass Effect? What the hell? If people can say it is worthy of being the spiritual successor to Baldurs Gate 2, then it is probably the best RPG this gen.
I wouldn't even call D...
I hate traveling to the US. I'm Persian and it drives me nuts. I missed two flights a few years ago because they would fingerprint my parents and question them and stuff.
Never taking an American airline company or traveling to the US by plane.
Borders always causes problems for us too.
You know if God of War wasn't an exclusive, a lot more people would be getting this game. Last time I checked, Dead Space is pretty much a rip-off of Resident Evil....just in space, and yet so many people loved that game. Why? Because it wasn't competing with an exclusive franchise. 360 fans are usually going to support Dante's Inferno, and PS3 fans are going to trash Dante's Inferno.
That is why Visceral Games released the demo earlier for PSN, and is selling that exclusive edi...
All the stuff you just listed has been down before on PC games.....
Innovative means the first to do it.....
Killzone 2 isn't innovative. The cover system is new,but that is the only new thing that KZ2 did.
Everything else was done before. Great shooter though.
But ya, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood has a better cover system now than KZ2.
And the AI is good in KZ2, but not as good as FEAR 1's AI on the PC.
I agree. Best game of the year hands down for me. My favorite RPG this gen as well.
Beats The Witcher and Demon's Souls and Valkyria Chronicles for me.
It is a shame the console versions are pretty poor to be honest.
Famitsu = garbage
34/40 for HAZE?
14/40 for Mass Effect?
38/40 for The Last Remnant?
haha
I prefer Dengeki
......
Problem with the DS.
No sports games
No racing games
No fighting games
No action/shooter games
PSP doesn't have those problems.
DS' library consists of RPGs, puzzle games, miscellanous and shovelware.
They forgot the new NFS coming out.
Criterion, the guys behind Burnout, are making the next need for speed shift.
Can't wait.
They forgot Command and Conquer 4.
You're forgetting something about Crysis.
Uncharted 2 is linear.
Crysis is sandbox style and it has destructable environments.
If Uncharted 2 was open world and had dynamic destructible environments, the graphics would look far, far worse.
That is why Crysis is still better visually because of how much it actually has to process.
PC gaming + console gaming = win
But honestly, I love PC gaming for the really deep games. Sure they might be super complicated, but they are so rewarding. I also like how the FPS games on PC aren't EPIC WAR CAMPAIGNS! Like Killzone 2 or Call of Duty. Cryostasis, STALKER are some shooters that feels so different from everything else out there.
PC gaming of 2009 was a poor year for big name titles, but huge for hidden gems and indie titles. I actually liked 2009 a lo...
it wasn't an evolution for FEAR 2.
FEAR 2 was just so slow....and boring. I enjoyed the story. I love FEAR. Alma is my favorite female character.
I jack off to FEAR 1 every day.
But FEAR 2. ugh. Monolith usually makes awesome sequels IMO. But this....was their blemish. I'm a hardcore Monolith fanboy as well, and I still can't look past FEAR 2. They took out all the good gameplay elements. FEAR 2 just felt like any other shooter. FEAR 1 stood out
FEAR 2 was terrible. It disappointed me so much. FO3 disappointed me as well. It just wasn't as deep as the older FO games. The combat system just wowed everyone because "SLO MO GORE! WOW"
Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 1 are iffy. They shouldn't be compared. They have nothing in common.
DIablo 2....ya I don't get lol
well at least a Wii game won something at the VGAs
