I find it funny that people consider Mass Effect an exclusive. I mean the superior version is on PC
PC gaming isn't dying sales. The sales are great especially with the deals on Steam
It is just console kiddies who don't realize that most games sell on Steam, and Steam doesn't release sales figures.
And concerning PC retail games, NPD doesn't count them in the same chart with the console games
The Sims 3 sold almost 4 million in one month. And that is only retail.
Crysis has sold over 3 million, retail. Not including Steam, or all the othe...
And this is why it is good to be a PC gamer. I just picked up so many games for so cheap.
It sucks that I have to pay $60 for one freaking console game.
"PC gaming so expensive"
HAHAHAHA
STALKER for $2.50
No STALKER: Call if Pripyat?
what a joke Crytek. I don't mind it going multiplat, but at least admit they just want more profit.
The game sold over 3 million. And that is not including Crysis Maximum Edition or Steam. It has outsold so many PS3 exclusives....seriously Crytek?
Hell, the game was selling like on Direct2Drive on Black friday because they had a 50% off deal.
Halo 3: ODST 2
- 3 new firefight maps
- 5 hour campaign
and no Halo 3 multiplayer
$60
Sales: 2 million in 2 days
Oh Halo kiddies......
PC gaming expensive? hahahaha
If you like going to Best Buy and getting ripped off
Just build your own
Terrible list. They put Operation Flashpoint, but no Arma 2? No Cryostasis? No Killing Floor?
They forgot so many games...
Another example is the MMO market.
Look at how far Western MMOs have gone.
You have Fallen Earth, EVE Online, Age of Conan's combat system, and WoW.
Where as in the Japanese MMO market, most games are just grindfests like lineage and they all pretty much look the same.
I whole heartedly agree.
Japanese games in general have been slowing down. Hell, Hideo Kojima talks about it.
The Western market just suddenly exploded to be honest. In everything...
There are very few JRPGs that push the genre forward. Valkyria Chronicles, Persona 3........
Demon's Souls is a spiritual successor to King's Field and they pretty much play identically.
The reason why WRPGs have moved forward so much is that they ...

Seriously......
You can also find it at Circuit City for like $2 if you're lucky
You're kidding me right?
You can buy the game for like $5 for PC. Anyones PC can play it nowadays. Not only that there is mod support to update the graphics, and other stuff
8 player multiplayer
sigh.....are people that easy to rip money off of?
it is weird that no on mentions PC sim racing games....
I mean those blow away FOrza 3 and GT5.
http://www.iracing.com/test...
Definitely beats Forza 3 in physics.
Especially all the glitches Forza 3 has.
But it still doesn't beat the PC racing sims
Can't wait for GT5 nonetheless
PC exclusives don't get any spotlight
And Dragon Age does take advantage of the PC. Seriously, have you even played the game on consoles and on PC? It is a completely different playstyle.
RTS games and MMO games have been non stop success recently for PC.
2009 for PC wasn't consisting of blockbuster titles, but more indie titles. Different, and unique stuff. I would take that anyday over all the shooters that get released and all have the same gunplay a...
what the hell kind of comment is that?
Dragon Age plays nothing like it does on consoles.
"Anyone familiar with the Baldur’s Gate games will feel right at home with Dragon Age’s gameplay on PC, but it’s a very different experience between PC and consoles. On PC you can switch between either 3rd person over-the-shoulder view or a much more tactical isometric view. Combat moves can be selected from a skill bar at the bottom of the screen by clicking on them or us...
They missed the last part of the trailer.
Anyways, I'm reserving judgement until gameplay is shown. I really hope it is a tactical, team based infantry shooter
Another one. Has anyone here actually played Dragon Age on PC?
Popularity contest? I'm surprised Dragon Age won because it was a PC game. VGAs is very console oriented (indie games are proof of this), but ya, has anyone actually played Dragon Age on PC? It is pretty uch everything that Bioware has done in the past, they took the best parts, and put it into one game, and then added a hell lot of content.
The gameplay is classic party based PC RPGs which surprisingly h...
Terrible trailer.
Though it does look like it is going to be more team based, which is good.
I don't know if a lot of the Halo fanbase has ever heard of the word teamwork but who knows
Excited to see more
Fail
ME2 isn't a RPG
