What's wrong with third person view mode. Greater view of the environment, able to spot people from miles away, no sneaking from the side, easier to spot traps. I just don't get the obsession of first person view mode besides it limits the view of field of your surroundings and environment.
Hell no,oh wait the first twisted metal did have first person view mode and from experience it was a nightmare for I couldn't see the enemy coming in from the side,it was harder to spot the missiles coming in from behind. Ugh, I am so glad that all twisted metal games after the first one drop the first person view mode.
I am not a fan of first person mode,it limits my view of the environment and honestly my eyesight is not that good. I am slightly dissapointed by GTA V first person mode well it just not gta. Luckily is optional,so that's good news.
Yup, I played games like gone home and To The moon a game with a story about love, marriage, and science. Games like Trine franchise or better yet Dust are showcases of indie greatness,
Aaaaargh, one of the new upcoming genres is survival genre minus the horror like Rust, The long Dark, The Stomping Lands, etc. Open Survival Horror games are on the way like The Forest and Day Z. These games are still in early access meaning still in game development. Once these gamrelease man is going to change gaming forever. Also the return of space sims like Elite or Star Citizen........ 😊😊 2015 is going to rock so much so that I will have no money.
One of my favorite games so much so that I believe I memorized the speech of "The End" (best boss ever) which went like this:
Spirits of the forest guide me to hunt my last prey,do you hear me snake, I am the end"
I also enjoyed destroying the storage huts that starved, depleted, the ammo and weapons of the enemy. I almost forgot the hidden frog toys, the coolest video game music ever and yes I did cry at the end of the game.
The wonderful 101 was made by platinum studios not Nintendo. The last story and Pandora Tower were made by Mistwalker Studios not Nintendo..,...
When it comes to creativity, innovation, and the willingness to move gaming forward is independent game developers. Especially so,now that two new genres came from indies like survival such as the forest and mobas. Nintendo same 80's franchises, Sony and Microsoft same cinematic short gaming experiences and more fps games that just drive me nuts.
To me Midway for its arcade sports games, racers, and obviously spy hunter. Quick question why are there no more insane arcade sports titles like Midway NBA Ballerz,NBA Jam, MLB slugfest, etc. Miss hydro thunder deeply.
Yeah mercenaries that was a kickass open world game which allowed you to skip some missions, do the missions however you pleased really no restrictions.
True
I strongly see Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo ditching the hardware side of consoles and offering Netflix like services. ..
True back in the day when console games were made for consoles. But many today's console games rely and mimic PC gaming to the point is dull. Mainstream platformers, JRPGS, fighting games, weird or odd games, etc. The games that made consoles supreme have been replaced by ancient PC gaming franchises like Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age (based on dungeons and dragons). Its obsession with fps uJamestown shmup, enemy mind another shmup, last dream jrpg, scepta core, jrpg, freedom planet, ...
No Man's Sky for me is a hotly waiting title along with the long dark, the forest, darkwood, etc. which are still in early access Aaargh
Crap nothing to do with why the author likes Steam but to complain about origin and uplay. I felt for it again.
Even though virtual reality will work best on the PC. Due to its upgradeable hardware.
Ok, big relief knowing that the PC version of say game is not going to be affected by the power of consoles
Drats, can't wait to play it though. How can mangagamer make a mistake of putting on sale say game and not be able to play it ugh!!!
The Banner Saga is the game I played at the beginning of the year
Yeah like Alan Wake was supposed to be a 360 exclusive but it came to PC for $30.00 the first two weeks then it was $17.00 with all DLC included.
