Simple answer we are an impatient bunch.
It did back in the day with games like BMX XXX and such ;however, those games performed poorly with both critics and sales. So with that kind of history, is harder for Sony or Microsoft risk getting an AO game.
Is the rating and the context of the game that prevents it from coming to consoles.
With the AO rating I doubt it.
I concur, that's why is called consoles get it it cons people away with the illusion of is as powerful as a gaming PC and the illusion of its ease of use. As for early access, I am not a fan of it and hopefully it doesn't come to consoles
I agree but do you want to buy first stage games that are barren of content, buggy, glitchy, or even with no music.
As vocal and informed console gamers are, I really hope Early Access makes it to consoles. The reason why,is because early access are games on their first stage i.e. no sound or no access to certain content, poor a.i., bugs galore, etc.I played Dream which is an early access game that has no music, elementary sounds, no special effects and pedestrian visuals. It would be best for console gamers to get map editors, mini games, and free unlockables than an early access program. After all kic...
Hmmm interesting, this could render consoles useless. LoL
It may happen in 2015

Dark Souls is a WRPG made by Japanese game developers.

I agree with the author in regards that open world games need to be organic, living, breathing worlds. Game worlds that events and missions happen based on the gamers actions not prescripted. That game developers need to stop making open world games as a typical run of the mill linear game. This is not to say that linear games are bad, but a linear game in an open world setting is beyond terrible.
Hmmmmm distance may come to PS4 and if it doesn't well too bad.

Carmageddon early access
There's a couple on steam,unfortunately with PS2 visuals.
It's the first year and I really don't see the difference between this gen than last generation. Sadly by jumping to PC, I am seeing more innovation, creativity, and experimentation from the PC side. I do want to point out that its the first year for the Xbox One and PS4, so with that said 2015 may or may not show improvements of say systems. This also means that by 2016 if and only if these consoles continue the way it started in 2014,then is going to become an issue down the road ...
It was during the PS one and PS2 era that gameplay changed. During PS One it was all about 3D movement like able to move into the foreground, background, etc. It was during the PS2 days that gameplay changed dramatically ;meaning, the ability to sneak in full 3D, killswitch brought the ability to shoot out of cover, jump and shoot, stick to a wall and shoot sideways. Red Faction brought the ability to destroy the environment from walls, floors, etc. The Getaway was the first game to offer scree...
Not really, for $600.00 or less if you can get a deal on PC parts .
