You're going to hate me, I am one of those people. I do have to say that I wish, I was able to return games that I don't like back to the digital store for which I can't. What would make in my opinion digital distribution more appealing would be a Netflix like service for games yeah.

Well, today's games are very safe rarely do we see video games with gore as in bloody organs coming out of say video characters. The Walking Dead is one of those rare games that doesn't hold back, the other would be Dead Island, and Enola. Ok,guess Steam didn't want to be left behind. So basically Valve made it easier for PC gamers to broadcast their games. Instead of using twitch tv, youtube, or Skype ;just use steam broadcast feature. Now how is Steam known as a storefront as opposed to a gaming service that I do not know.

Is funny that the game developers who pretty much kill themselves and go bankrupt before the game is finished are indie game developers. Despite of that, the indie guys sell their games at low prices with no DRM, no DLC, or microtransanctions. It's the multi billion mainsrteam video game corporations that swallow up smaller companies that cry about not making money, about adding DLC,microtransanctions and online passes uggghhh.
You got shot down for it, yeah I am against all this pay extra crap. I didn't bought Dead Space 3, for its microtransanctions nor Uncharted 3 for its online pass. Assassins Creed Unity also for its microtransanctions (I didn't bother to get it). Sadly, there's so few gamers willing to skip or not buy games with shady anti-consumer practices. Mostly because its their favorite franchises.

To each is own but to say the best games this year were TLOU and GTA V is beyond ridiculous. I am sure that there were better games than those two that have a fighting chance to win awards like Divinity Original Sin, Wasteland 2, Alien Isolation, Among the Sleep, etc.
