Not confirmed and out on 2016 (mod tools map editor). Nice try but I pass
I agree, console gamers defend their favorite franchises/games despite if it has microtransanctions, day one dlc or is running at 900p 30 frames per second. Sim City was called out on and Diablo 3 on PC no longer has microtransanctions (shop). That's due to pc gamers having higher standards
Its PC gaming that online gaming was born, its the platform that started digital gaming services like steam that set the standards for future digital gaming services. Its the current and only platform that allows gamers to play at 4k resolution. The only platform to offer every single genre in gaming..... Its console hardware on its way out not PC.
Ummmm nope none of these ideas make a good horror game. A point and click adventure game, text adventure game, or even action game but not a horror creepy game. Does anyone play survival horror or I am the only one. For every single article in regards to horror gaming gets it wrong. 😭
You mis-interpret what Warren Specter is saying that today's gaming while more cinematic than previous games have lost gameplay mechanics in favor of story. That games are using cutscenes/cgi scenes to tell a story but the narrative of the game is not told through gameplay. Let's be honest and ask yourself have gameplay mechanics improved or moved forward since the PS2 . The answer is a resounding NO
What both Naughty Dog and Warren Specter are saying is there's a lot of room left for gaming to improve. Last gen and this gen have improved the narrative in gaming. Now is time to mix narrative with gameplay. Meaning to tell an engaging narrative unfolding via gameplay not via cutscene. In a lot of ways, while I appreciate the current cinematic approach to gaming. We gamers have lost gameplay mechanics in favor of a good story. Gameplay mechanics have not improved or moved forward since ...
No mention of Among the Sleep or Until Dawn which are games. on PS4
Monstroum or Kholat
Dreadout
Enola
A game about making a game sounds neat
Yay
For me the best crowdfunded games are:
Among the Sleep
Freedom Planet (did not backed it)
Consortium
Mark of the Ninja.
Will check out sunless sea
Putting aside fanboyism what do you guys pay for ps plus if dedicated servers are not implemented to exclusive games. The irony is last gen xbox fanboys got laughed at for peer to peer Xbox Live games. Now ps fanboys are defending peer to peer. Just like last gen PlayStation fanboys saying pay to play online was bad but now defend it. Is sad really, PC gaming has offered and continues to offer free online gaming/dedicated servers
While true;however, there's coupons, loyalty/reward programs, point system and sick deals like buy one get one free or theaters selling tickets as low as $5.00 during weekdays. Ask yourself why Amazon is allowed to sell console games at lower prices than say retailers/psn store or xbox live marketplace.
Besides witcher 3/red dead redemption is been awhile since mini games appeared on a game. I really do not understand why mini games are not on every rpg/open world game. If you think about it, mini games are hobbies that the citizens of the gameworld do to pass the time. But every single open world game (except witcher 3/red dead redemption) lack mini games
Is the only company to not add microtransanctions on its $60.00 game (Rise of Tomb Raider, MGS V 😭, Payday 2, etc). Is adding lots of content to fallout 4 (star wars battlefront and rainbow six siege lack content). So no Bethesda is not overrated. Bringing mods to consoles yay
This is great news
This is how you end a game by capturing all the touching moments of previous episodes, messing with a player's head (for sure the game was over once Max got to San Francisco; it was the perfect timeline).....
It was an awesome ending and well it was exactly the ending from "The Butterfly Effect" . Even though I wish the game ended with Max going to San Francisco.
You can hook a controller to smartphones. PC on the living room would surely decimate consoles. Streaming games may not be good right now but in five years. Remember technology moves faster than any industry out there.
Oh shit that sucks I use steam. Hopefully is not true.
I may play this game
