Games are engaging not just fun.
Damn, and here I was hoping something akin to silent hill meets amnesia
Yeah the PC I am not very familiar with the history of pc gaming. You need a true PC gamer veteran (played PC from the 80s to today). I am familiar with steam and the fact that it was the PC were online gaming was born. Steam set the standards for future digital gaming services to follow. Steam brought DLC (ugh), achievements (lame), and then did a 180 degree turn were the gamers became the managers of Steam. Basically through greenlight the steam gamers became the gatekeepers of which games ...
Not bad, say how come no mention of Sony
Sadly the big three sure drop the ball this generation.
Sony brought western gaming to consoles. Built the first device to play movies, games, and music through PS2 (on a single platform) before PC. Brought the first ever processor that had a built in GPU, virtual cores, and parallel processing via the PS3 before it became a standard for PC and today's consoles. Brought cinematic gaming. Nintendo did brought rumble and analog sticks, Sony refined it and made it a standard. Also Nintendo brought new gamers via the wii, made both motion controls...
Yes the PS One is the console that brought western game developers to stardom and the true golden age of western gaming began. Just look at Sony's first/second party studios: Naughty Dog (US)creators of crash bandicoot, jak and daxter. Single trac (US) creators of twisted metal franchise, became Santa Monica studio to bring God of War franchise. Sony Cambridge studio (England) creators of medievil. Don't forget the franchises that started during PS One carrried over to PS2 (Western fr...
For me it was amazing to have a console that offer a lot for so little money. It was also the first platform to play games, movies, music on one system. Not even PC had that luxury but a few years later after the PS2 launched. The games that I enjoyed the most was the Dark Cloud series, twisted metal black, need for speed underground franchise. Midnight Club and the game that set the standards for today's games The Getaway (yes it had a low score and sales). First game with no hud, mini m...
Just the same old mainstream games. No Rollercoaster Tycoon World, Tides of Numera or even Mad Max
I might check it out
Read the article , saw the video. Still don't understand what the game is about
Is just survival horror is thriving on PC thats all
Try Stasis or Fan Brow not a walk in the park. Also check out Monstroum
Among the Sleep made it to PS4 along with Until Dawn. But for those that enjoy survival horror like me guess what PC is the platform of choice for this genre. This year alone, I highly recommend Monstroum, Kholat, and the point and click adventure games Stasis or better yet fran bow. Face it consoles only offer casual gaming like smartphones lol
Oh well, it wasn't a good game
That would b see fantastic
Early Access the GAMER INVESTS ON A VIDEOGAME PROYECT not buy a game. Meaning gamers publish the game not buy the game.
Thank you
Except during the PS One/PS2 era were games were cheaper on consoles and PC. Plus don't forget that games during that era came with free unlockables, mini-games, alternate endings, map editors, etc. Games like the 2k sports were $20.00 brand new, everquest around $40.00 for PS2 brand new. On PC games are cheaper, why due to no competition among retailers. So no its console gamers that willingly accept these anti-consumer practices.
No mention of monstroum or fran bow. How is Soma
