Sony/Microsoft fail miserably this generation in regards to visual fidelity. PC won this generation: cheaper games, superior visual fidelity in games (4K,2K, 1440p, 60, 90, and 120 frames per second), map editors/mods (rarely exist on console). The ability to choose to play on monitor or tv with 🎮 or kb and mouse or both continuously. The consoles are outdated pieces of hardware end of discussion.
That's true, but face it multiplatform games always look best on PC. Batman Arkham Knight is the exception not the rule. With that in mind, if you care about having the best gaming experience you own a pc
A famous quote of blackbond: "if you only care about graphics buy a pc". Sorry, but PC gaming will always have superior visual fidelity over consoles. What is really missing this two console generations is game content. Too many of today's games have a barebones single player campaign and your traditional online multiplayer. In order to get more video game content is via DLC/microtransanctions (cost money). Rarely do gamers get free DLC content. The era of mini-games, alternate ...
I oh man if his next game is like Zone of the Enders 2nd runner. Then yes that would be freaking sweet. It better be cel-shaded and have that amazing anime look 😁
A game developer will not be able to please everyone that's for sure. I still say that AAA gaming should go local not global. As AAA gaming went corporate and global; it became more expensive to make games and went from a creative business to a corporate business. A local AAA gaming company is more focused and more adaptable to spot technical issues within a game
I agree that AAA gaming is expensive but let us look at the savings first:
Game Engines like Unreal 4, Unity, and Cry Engine freeeeeee of charge. Meaning zero dollars.
Manufacturing blu-ray disks is cheaper than in 2005.
Profits are made when the AAA game releases on multiple platforms or console manufacturers strike a deal or offer lots of money to game developer.
Gamers market, beta test, do reviews, walkthroughs, etc. at n...
Oh ok may get it
Visuals are nice and all. Yes the PC version looks better than the PS4 version. My question is does it work well with keyboard and mouse plus does it have a kb and m user interface.
Console gamers have lower standards than PC gamers.
No, is the popularization of free to play games model
Not really
It goes to show that PC gamers have higher standards for gaming 😝 than console gamers that buy any game regardless if is trash or not.
Free classics sure why not
Is not the lack of single player campaign that got you bored per se. It's the lack of content in mp only games. An only mp game can exist without a single player campaign if it has these essential features:
Mod Support (it can be done on consoles insert Fallout 4/Unreal Tournament 3)
Map Editor regardless if is 4 maps or 10 maps.
Lan Support (it can be done on consoles
was a major feature for Xbox Original)
Offli...
I wholeheartedly agree with the indie scene. Mainstream gaming well it jumped the shark. Mainstream game developers are corporate chronies that only care about profits. Indie game developers are artists that care about moving the industry forward, challenging the status quo, etc. Letting their talent/work to produce money. Now, yes games are expensive; however, gamers no longer buy a game call it a day. We live in an era that the gamer hypes/markets the game via youtube, twitch tv, skype, cro...
Angela Bassett was supposed to lead her voice and likeness for Rainbow Six Siege single player campaign. Which it never came to fruition
I am still in it with VR. I guess I will definitively check out the VR Arcades (cheaper than the one I have to buy for my home). There's always an alternative to everything. I am not convinced at the moment about the PS VR. I do want to say that PS VR is the only VR that's fully dedicated to gaming and gaming alone; hence, the cheaper price. That's a good thing because it may get more support from game developers. That it will work as intended or bring a new gaming experience that...
