I can't wait to play this game on PC 😁
Gaming needs to get out of corporate period
Gaming needs to be out of coporate seriously
The sooner we as gamers stop defending anti-consumer practices. Demand that the First Sale Doctrine is incorporated into digital distribution. Demand for free unlockables as opposed to DLC. Demand map editors/mods plus mini games as opposed to microtransanctions. Demand that games be sold in a competitive market as opposed having a $60.00 standard as the price of all games. Finally, demand for offline play/multiplayer......
Don't single out Americans. Australian/Japanese gamers pay $80.00 U.S. dollars for Xbox Live with less content than the American version of Xbox Live. Pay $100.00 U.S. dollars for console games with microtransanctions included. Really, console gamers need to wake up, PC GAMERS can't be the only gamers standing up against anti-consumer practices.
Not really, the vast majority of console gamers love the way things are lol
Is the internet where a gamer can be anonymous enough that he/she can say whatever they please due to lack of identity. I am a civil person but sometimes I do play devils advocate or let my emotions get the best of me. I hate to say it, but gamers are divided not united. What I mean is: gamers will side with the policies/anti-consumer decisions of corporations because is their favorite company/game franchise. A perfect example Star Wars Battlefront were gamers defended EA and found every sing...
It depends on the story, theme, gameworld era (medieval, fantasy, future), etc. It would be nice to move away from spiky hair dude, half naked lady, and muscular gruff marine fashion sense. It makes the game more believable.
Cant wait to play this game
I agree especially with the rise of gaming development costs (A-list celebrities likeness/voice, overseas employees/offices, the variable costs of gas, transportation, warehouse fees for gaming discs, etc.). Is becoming difficult to make a game exclusive to one platform; hence, PlayStation Now with it, is possible for PC gamers to play PlayStation games legally without emulating them. ...
Console gamers change due to the decisions made by corporations. Look at Sony charging for online and all and I mean all Sony fanboys/Sony supporters caved in despite it went against their principle. Now that Microsoft have stated about an upgradeable console; guess what, a couple of xbox fanboys/Microsoft supporters like the idea.......
I am guessing 2020; certainly not later than that
Actually a $500.00 PC will let you play games at 1080p/60 frames per second. The issue lies that the PC version of Quantum Break running at 4K resolution 60 frames per second in contrast to Xbox One 900p 30 frames per second. Which one do you think a gamer will want if it owns a. 4K TV and knows a PC can hook to his/her tv.
Next xbox one games come to mobile devices, then xbox live comes to your smart tv as an app. The ability to play xbox one games on any Windows device will become a reality. The end of console hardware is near.
Nope, people that don't buy the upgrades will have an inferior experience than the people buy the upgrades.
Now Kinect is useful for VR gaming. Think about it, VR requires immersion and the believability of being inside the gameworld; hence, kinect. Yes is a dumb idea.
I miss the free unlockables, mini games, alternate paths, etc. Superheroine from yesteryear
I disagree it will be like the smartphones buying an upgrade every two years. No upgrade part no ability to play games. It will be expensive due to Microsoft will ensure the upgrade parts come from Microsoft and Microsoft alone remember 360 HDDS twice the price of a regular HDD. If you care about visuals or upgrading parts buy a PC.
Finally a logical well written article not some bs crap that gamers get daily from any gaming journalist out there.
You mean you bought a pc. Windows10 is free of charge until summer 2016
