Thanks Cesar, sorry that we didn't catch this message earlier. Kyle says that he really appreciates the kind words as well :)
As for platforms, we're currently lined up for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

I talked with the game developer via Facebook about this game coming to consoles and he said no
From the current mindset of say console manufacturers no. To the big three is all about moving away as quickly as possible from selling a product (console) to a service (Playstation Now).
For now but five years from now yes. Is inevitable like the movie, music industry which is running in full digital
One word Onlive brought gaming to multiple platforms even tablets. What Sony is doing is basically picking up from where Onlive left off and improving on that base. Second consoles are only sold on first world countries or countries with stable high speed Internet access like México.......
Yup you are correct sir and is all in the sales pitch and presentation. Playstation Now is being presented as a Netflix for games service, the pitch here is stability, speedy service and recovery.
The PS3 suffers from ylod, hard drive errors, blu-ray errors, etc. So what is so special of having to repair your current console or re-buy your console buy it's successor for about $700.00 plus tax. Oh look at that as much as a high end gaming PC with full backwards compatibility.
Yes for a fee despite owning one of those games in physical form.
Ok lol
It would of been a great addition to the service come on you really want to have no options and have Sony dictate your gaming experience. Don't you want anything in return or are you to concerned for the financial well being of Sony.
Curses Sony read my mind or read my n4g comments. It was a brilliant idea to be able to stream your Playstation library the gamer owns in physical form via Playstation Now. But no Sony desperately wants gamers to re-buy their Playstation library. Think about it you can't transfer your bought and paid for digital PS3 library which included PS One and PS2 games. Games that could easily be played on the PS4 it also included indie games which hardly stress any system as far as hardware ...
Sony has 5-8 years to improve, trial and error different cloud streaming methods, etc. 5-8 years is more than enough to get not perfect but good cloud computing technology for games. Technology is the only industry that changes the fastest. The people behind Netflix are already trial and error testing 4k resolution streaming for movies/tv shows.
Except a streaming service requires 24/7 online service, also will I as a gamer be able to trade, share, or resell say game using this service ummm no right. Sony is pretty much reselling the games we as gamers already owned. That's the issue.
I agree but Microsoft xbox one policies were worse than this. In the sense of 24 hour checking, first sale doctrine out the window, etc. The reason I agree is that if Playstation Now takes off then instead of buying a console every 5 years or 8 years all there will be is turn on your TV log on to Playstation Now and pick up the new gamepad. All digital no disk requirement, first sale doctrine out the window, and online 24 seven oh it does sound like xbox one policies damn I messed up...
For sure I tough it was going to be included with PS Plus or at the very least the ability to use Gakai to stream the game data from your PS One, PS2 and PS3 disk you already own.
How about using Gakai to stream the game data from your PS One, PS2 and PS3 disk that you already own.
So basically there will be no streaming game data from your bought and paid for PS One-Ps3 using Gakai. Instead is a Netflix like service not included in your PS Plus subscription damn. So how does the gamer benefit from this if it's $50.00 for PS Plus then & 50.00 for this service that is $100.00 a year. Is Sony that desperate for money.
That's true I agree with that, it feels like when Google released its Android OS and had many third party manufacturers (cell phone companies). It took like a decade or so for Android to surpass the iPhone in terms of popularity, software, etc. Is disappointing due to by having one or four Steam Machines would of being perfect or having multiple Steam machines for $500.00 or less would of being perfect. I understand OEM manufacturers have been on a decline and Valve is trying t...
Simplicity console manufacturers threw that out the window with day one patch, online passes (you are a criminal for buying used games despite the fact it is a legal right under the "first sale doctrine"), pay to play online, re-buy your last generation games. Don't forget console games require patches/updates and be installed to the hard drive like PC games. You are the one that is living in a fantasy still living in the nineties. Wake up non fanboys will see the Steam...
But that's the problem with movies like saw were were the people complaining about it nowhere to be found and when it comes to rap music or hip hop with scantily real life scantily women is ok, tv shows like jackass is ok. Unfortunately games are still perceived as toys or for little kids that is the problem the movie director, music artist, even the people behind tv shows can do whatever the hell they want and allow themselves to express freely for example a clockwork orange is r...
