This does show very impressive damage modeling. I just hope the exhilaration factor will be there when a bunch of AI vehicles are included as well. I want to see the vids with multiple opponents!

I'm torn, the graphics are awesome, but a little shallow? There seems to be little damage and almost 0 particle effect build up etc. I realize that this is a sim and motorstorm is pure arcade, but I somehow feel that this would be more exciting if it had just a bit of that. In all the previews the dev's have emphasized the "amazing particle effects, collision damage, etc" but I'm not seeing that. I know there is still time and I'm hopeful.

These new pics look almost as good as the CG Forza trailer!! I wasn't sure that turn10 would be able to add quite this much polish, NICE!! It looks like the backgrounds got a bit better as well..am I right? In any case, I can't wait for the demo, and of course the game itself!
One is an arcade racer similar to Motorstorm, and the other is a sim, so I guess it depends on your preference....
Both titles are in Alpha, we have not yet seen the final code. I think you may be putting your foot in your mouth by claiming that what we have seen to this point is as good as it will get. I bet you are wrong about that. It would be like me saying Oh Halo3 looks totally crap since again we have only seen alpha footage. Also, and if you think Heavenly Sword will be just hack and slash like N3 you are seriously wrong.
I tried to bring this to the attention of the N4G crowd, but I'm not a contributer yet, so can only do so much, good job.
1up is the only site I have ever seen these particular captures from the trailer, and I think it is quite clear that these are NOT CG even though they almost look like it in motion and further were created in 2005. Is this footage still seriously ALPHA!!!!!???? OMG. Maybe its just me, but this new dev walkthrough is seriously in a new league beyond the other trailers from today. The level of independence within all the various ai all on screen at the same time is staggering! I can see with my own eyes now that there will definately be emergent gameplay going on.
Also with this footage, I can see that the gameplay and cutscene footage are nearly the same flawless CGish looking quality. ...
Both consoles (sorry) all three consoles have neat games coming soon. I suppose everyone will continue arguing anyway though, lol

Further, the screens which are from the 05' trailer really look realtime, as in it looks just like the other realtime White Engine footag...

Damn, I know that the lipsynching part is cut scene, but is obviously in-game and with that said It looks almost as good as the similar opening killzone footage totally smooth and spot on, OMG!!!!!
