When OPM is pegging KZ2 for a release in 08' I think thats more credible than a silly assumption that the delay of MGS4 entails KZ2 in 07. Anyway, Killzone has nothing to do with MGS!! (Oh and I'm not surprised if MGS gets an 08 release anyway as metal gear games have missed their releases before..lol)

Yeah I agree with everyone who is saying the graphics aren't outstanding, but they are definitely a little better than pgr3 and it really is a pointless comparo as PGR3 is such an arcade racer, not bad, just different. Just from playing the Forza2 demo and of course knowing about all the crazy features turn10 will have implemented to the final game, I can tell that there is tons of depth to this and I am more than ever looking forwards to purchasing it when it comes out!
The demo is pretty cool, I played it this morning. I have to say though like Bathyj said the framerate is extremely inconsistent when the action gets heavy. I am looking forwards to this game, it looks great and it seems that there will be some EPIC alien fights..lol at the shockwave part..I was like oh..its over already! Damn...
I swear the graphics have improved since the first screens/trailer. these new ones seem to exhibit better lighting!

Deep, I feel your sentiment, but I think that we are too late, people will continue to flame and argue, until uncompromising evidence exists one way or another exists. Unfortunately, even that is somewhat subjective, LOL.
For my part I am not really interested in saying OMG teh XBOTs were right hahaha, or OMG PS3drones were'nt so piein da sky afterall.. I just want both consoles to be fully worth the experience that they offer and more.

Actually, watching this, the CG KZ2 did come to mind just a bit. I don't really wanna assume anything about THAT game though as we have not seen anything of it yet. However, some of the things evident in this gameplay look quite a lot like what was in that trailer. Most notably to me are the impressively realistic physics, much improved particle system, and object destructibility, an of course the impressive lighting. Wow, vaporware becomes reality, eh? We all doubted these graphics back when they were shown in 2005? now they are real, it would appear. I am truly impressed. I hope the immersion of the game doesn't stop at the graphics though..I look forwards to the first game footage.

This still looks awesome! I think the 1up guy got it right. For some reason, this game does not look that impressive in just screenshots, yet when seen in motion, it just looks amazing! I cant wait to play this.
Alright, I'll add my bit. This is either a mistranslation, or incompetence on the part of the dev's. Graphically the new scans of GTA IV in GI, look as good or BETTER than these for Conviction and of course GTA is multi. Further, Rockstar said that the graphics are still improving.

That's awesome. Sadly my racing experience has been mainly limited to the virtual world. I am interested in getting into the real thing, but I don't really have the money yet to support such a habit...maybe in a few more years. In the meantime I feel incredibly lucky that I can even experience some of excitement I would in real life due to the increasing realism of these impressive sim games!
