Ok, I agree that when your product is being sold at a loss you don't want to sell too many. But, isn't it that the retailers are having a hard time selling the PS3? I understand that Sony has been successful in manufacturing and selling through to retail, huge numbers of PS3's. Doesn't that mean that they would be loosing tons of money--as the retailers are not selling though anywhere near as much stock, in turn the game sales are much lower and fail to offset the huge loss Sony continues ...
This probably is just another case of Kojima screwing with people. I can't believe I almost fell for Mart's BS, like the poster above me points out, the line difference comparo actually compares the 1st and third lines Snake says, not that they changed the words. Good try tho Mart:P The only glaring omission is the missing PS3 logo, but as Bladestar pointed out in a previous post Konami's denial reply about this trailer claimed E3 07 is in August, LOLLOL!!

The info leaking I think has nothin to do with it. He got laid off just yesterday as part of the crazy Sony cuts that are going on as we speak..He posted the old info in August 06' and because of that info, he became internet-wide famous as the most credible insider ever....Sony would have fired him last August, if they had not wanted the info spread..
The more I think about it..it seems that it is too convenient for it to be the games we all think...Sony has surprised us pretty much everytime a new announcement comes up. The way the wording goes it could be a brand new IP. I assumed b4 that he meant footage we had all seen before, but maybe he just meant stuff that they just saw for the first time recently...
The only thing that throws me off is the xbox comment, although that I guess could simply refer to this new game b...

Actually, I agree, that Jin Kazama E3 05 footage also seemed orders of magnitude too good to be true. Especially since we saw the "trailer" at E3 06. OOOOH, I just remembered another one. The Rockstar "untitled project" i.e. RDR2....more ideas..

Your right, I wasn't totally thinking on that one..I realized after I wrote the comment that I should have said outside the adventure/ RPG genre. Since Lair indeed falls out of pure classification there, I think it is the first hybrid genre game to be epic in its music, as well as all other ways!
Seriously epic!! I could be misinformed, but this is the first game I know of that has a soundtrack to rival a film score..Most games (outside of a few RPG's), the music supports the experience..but doesn't combine to create the experience. From what I've seen this may be one of the first games where this is the case!

I don't have time to get to the bottom of this, but maybe you do? All I think is that these two games are developed by the same studio? and maybe there is something we don't know yet..or PSU really screwed up.. I'm sure people would appreciate if you can come up with something..
When I heard about The Wall I was immediately intruigued. The concept is interesting, and the tech video they released about the environment tech was really impressive..
