Mainly:
PSP game announcements and the fact that AC Complete ships with the FF XIII PS3 demo.
Well, this is comforting (for now), but like others are saying, I don't trust Squeenix when they say its "exclusive" I'll believe it when it releases!
Similarly though, b4 MGS4 dropped, I wondered about its exclusivity as well, so I haven't lost hope entirely.
Side note, I really hope that the realtime vs and XIII footage gets leaked, or at least pics....fingers X'ed.
The PSP info was quite pleasing however!
So what your saying is, "Its like Deja Vu, all over again"
Sorry, are you that dense?? ALL games fully install on PC's and Macs because those are not DEDICATED game machines. They are general purpose and are engineered to read and process from installed data on the hard drive.
Your argument is akin to those that ask why console games only need to support 720/1080P while computer games typically can support beyond 1080P...(hint viewing distance)
Nice one with your tone....
through the various incarnations of your name changes and comment history, I would say you are lying outright at worst, and trying to mislead others at best. Anyway, you can't spin this. About your claim to no space related comments prior to Carmack...hmm apparently you did not hear about:
1 Ben Ward from Bizarre Creations (PGR4 content cuts)
2 Sam/ Dan Hauser from Rock* (content cut GTA4)
3 Yoshinori Kitase f...
Aaahhhhhhhh.....
Uh HUH,
I don't post here that much anymore due to the super-retarded fanboy arguments (the SC4 comparo thread was more retarded ** READ=pointless ** than ANYTHING I've ever read on NeoGaf--at least Gaffers do it on purpose to be funny)
But this little "revelation"--I couldn't resist. There is no way around it; bashers we told you for the last 2 years how tech advances and that Sony did have the right idea overall. We told you that...
This was a fantastic article, with a lot of very interesting info..lots of which has been debated/discussed over the last year right here on N4G every time we got one of those Sony FUD articles. I admit that I may have been one of those who said WTF!? Why aren't you concentrating on games??? Bla, Bla, Bla.
Reading this though, we see just why Sony was making all those "strange" moves, it was because that was the only way they could win the format war...It was quite a r...
I can live with whatever the announcement may be...I just hope it is SOME kind of new PS3 game (hopefully) related to FF7 somehow..we will see (or not) soon.
Bigger, Better, and more Badass (than 13)
I think I need to change my avatar. As others are saying its all about the art direction, and as this trailer shows that aspect of this game is INSANE!!!. Now, I really don't trust anything a 3rd party dev says this gen since Bioshock and FF 13 announcements, but I don't even care if this loses its current PS3 exclusivity. Seeing SO4 has reassured me that the in-game graphics will likely be amazing for both FF13's no matter what.

I find it really amusing that everyone is whining about enemy AI...while failing to see the incredible teammate AI. This is what I have been waiting to see. Guerilla appears to have pulled off the non-scripted teammate/enemy interactions.
If there are a mix of those type of AI response interaction (will weapon sharing animations like 05' be there as well??) then they will hit the animation/AI target as well...Funny, people said that the 05' animations would be just as imposib...
I agree with Figboy. I must admit I was basically new to MGS before this game. I bought the essentials collection recently and basically played all the games back to back, culminating of course with MGS4.. Not only is this game so far beyond the others in all ways quality wise, it is the first game I have ever played that really attempts to give 3-D characters actual 3-dimensional personalities. It makes a HUGE difference to have characters who (may not) be invincible badasses.
Agreed, although rumor has it that Alex took a job at Harmonix.
Also, I don't know if you noticed, but Gamespot is now the internet version of G4. It is FAR worse than IGN. Watch the new OTS, if you can it is really painful. Even those in the forums over there agree.
BTW, Gamespot was the first Internet game site I ever visited. They knew their Sh- and cared passionately about what they did. Contrast that with now: remember the recent KZ2 preview, The writer didn't even know that the baddies are called Helghast, he referred to them as &...
Dude, I didn't get paid anything, zero, chill out. This is a gaming news site and last I heard, a new game site (especially as they are close to full on launch), may well be of interest to some on N4G. Besides, the only other story about Giantbomb seemed to be a broken link.
Excuse me for thinking that a small, non-corporate funded site run by legitimate game journalists may be of interest to someone on N4G, a site where people whine to no end (rightfully to a degree) about bia...
Dude, whoever. If you are going to disagree, please explain. Obviously by my avatar, this is not a troll post. I would like nothing more than to have assurance FF:XIII will be at E3. I just don't see any yet..
The video interface on giantbomb is very good and has an innovative Mac-like feel to it. Notice how comments are linked realtime to the video and appear as bubbles to those watching the video. I've never seen integration on a level like this on other websites, its cool!
Uhh, question, yeah. I actually started listening to the podcast to try to find some semblance of confirmation on 13 being at E3...there is none. I know the site is probably the biggest unofficial FF13 site on the net, but that means nothing as its members are just fans and appear to know no more than those of us on N4G. This is just a discussion of stuff related to their site and other news that can be found elsewhere. They are not Journalist, they are fans. Thus, this title is extremely ...
This article sort of gets it actually. The main problem of most movie games is that they take a movie that originally took a lot of settings and or characters and then tries to distill that all into a videogame. Everything ends feeling forced and cobbled together.
The trick is finding a movie that has the same formula as a typical game. Children of Men is the best possible example. It is totally linear, has lots of action, a compelling narrow focus to the character, and very r...
huh, can't attach images for some reason !?
Megaton is definitely the FF XIII Versus realtime footage-someone youtube it..STAT!!!
