Wardevil appears close in certain ways.
You should, but at the same time, don't outright dismiss it. A guy over on neogaf who seems to be decently credible, today said that he was talking with one of the devs at SCEE..you know, 8 days, getaway?
Anybody ever wonder why that London level in GT5:P looks so good? He said, its because it is the same asset (originally shown at E3 05) that will feature in Getaway 3. Except it will look slightly BETTER in Getaway due to only 720P 30FPS.
Oh Holy Sh!t. I know why this seems familiar...
Gamesblow, yes that notorious poster (site has now been closed) wrote about Team Ico's new IP that is NOT a SOTC sequel (according to him, they are working on that too) not more than 3 weeks ago. GB said that what he saw looked like a moving oil painting...I don't know about you guys, but that is exactly what these stills look like they are from. I can't wait to see this bad boy in motion!
Edit: Also, I think he hinted in...
I never bought that argument, and really, I think it is somewhat down to processing power...I believe Polyphony said that they hadn't put damage in yet because it would be too time consuming to do it to a level of realism up to staff standards. Besides, Forza, which also uses completely licensed cars implemented scratches and some degree of moderate damage. Hell, even PGR4 has cosmetic damage implemented. So I really don't believe the "car manufacturer argument"
Now,...
Totally agree, GT series would like to say hello. In fact, racing games (sims in particular) and FPS's are always trying to get to photoreal. It adds to the immersion and overall experience. To dismiss these kinds of games that thrive on evolving graphics does an enormous disservice to the hardworking devs in the industry.
This is not to say that unrealisic games are somehow less important, they are just another choice, and these games can be just as compelling. What is ke...
Also, though, I think that within one of the major mod threads, a killzone mod/ char models has been requested..its only a matter of time.
I also saw an awesome Cloud model that is apparently slightly buggy at the moment.

I agree with you all. To parody Sony: This is Dreaming.
Maybe Apple will wake up from that dream once they realize that the only way this will be realized is by getting the GAME DEVELOPERS on board!
Call me when Squeenix says that Before Crisis is coming to iphone...then maybe there is some hope for these silly claims.
WOW, this kinda came out of nowhere. Anyone know if this will be out in the USA?
Interesting, I didn't know about that evolving over time bit!
True dat! when I first saw the game, I was all excited 8sci-fi setting, crazy abilities, (then amazing graphics) after I heard that all that had been scrapped, I gave up on this. Now, all of a sudden, it flew out from no where!! Definitely on my radar!
Yay, more studies like this please! The more evidence we have, the less the naysayers credibility is.
Yeah, I kind of got that a bit (c4 charge placing) sound etc. This actually looks pretty awesome, huh! I'm also pretty damn impressed that this is the PS3 version of something that had to have started life on 360 (one of original next-gen games and all that). I wonder if they went the multi-teams route we have been seeing lately, if so, definately=winning formula!
Way too many good games though, coming out in '08. Yikes!
That is a sad attempt at trolling, my friend. It is obvious that the black and white is chosen as a style to help show that all this is taking place in that past. The main portion will be in color, dumbass.
Now, that said, this game looks way better than I thought it would!! It seems that they took all the right cinematic cues from Gears, and threw things up a couple notches! Anyone know if this is proprietary engine. or is it UE3? I may just pick this up, it seems really coo...
I know you are trolling but I am going to correct you anyway. These are from the PAL version in which the screen tearing has been confirmed to have been fixed (via hands-on accounts) And no, some are replay, but they are not BS, the game really looks this good. Check the pics I attached, they are straight capture of gameplay, lobby, and replay (via camera)
Neogaf seems to be the best source for new GT5 images, I was just over there and thinking of posting these...looks like it was taken care of, lol. These really are insane though!
Oh, not sure if these ones were posted earlier:
I agree, they sound a bit worried. I'll be damned pissed off if we loose net-neutrality because of a corporation trying to over-rule our interests as consumers and community content providers.
I have reason to believe this may be a new IP from team ICO
Edit:
Guess I might be wrong..plastic!? Is it confirmed that that is the name of the developers...?
