Ok. First thing, the game is amazing, period, pretty much.
When I went into my local gamestop, it was afternoon and the guy next to me was picking it up as well. Don't know about the other patrons...didn't ask if a lot of people were picking up or not.

I think it is a testament to how proud they are (and rightfully so) of the real game that they are not afraid to show in true form what they were aiming for. After seeing this, I still think the real game looks absolutely amazing! I can't wait til Friday....

Now that I got to read the whole article (mag arrived in mail last night), I am really excited about this game. The example of scale is really, truly insane. The demo showed Kratos appeared to be a speck (only a couple of pixels) on a titan's chest until the devs zoom in in real time until he can be seen with such detail that his individual teeth are modeled. According to the mag, the AI will be a lot better, possibly even including situations where there is an enemy hierarchy of sorts, a commander coordinating attacks on Kratos..
So if there are just grunts they will mindlessly mill about and attack as they may, but if a centaur shows up, he may direct the grunts to perform coordinated attacks, etc.

Well, seeing as how I just got my March GI, I would say this info is indeed taken straight from the magazine. Whether all of this translates into the full game next year....thats another story. I really hope it does though. Don't ask me for scans please my printer/scanner is currently out of commission.

GT5P looks great, I'm not trolling or anything. It is just that with these renders it is clear that the lighting is extremely subtle, the reflection quality is superb, and certain textures are fantastic (leather interior, exterior wheels and metal of the brake calipers). This is not even close in GT5.
Uhh, since they say rendered on a high end PC I take that to mean in real time so yeah, looks like this can be done in real time-just prolly not on PS3 (or 360). Anyhow, this is what I wanna see, honestly that "real-time ray traced car model" demo by ATI looked like sh!t. This, on the other hand really blurs the line between photo and CG.
