Metroid, Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy, Eternal Darkness 2, Starfox, Pokemon MMO, and please, some new IPs as well. There should definitely be more of traditional adventure games and platformers, as well as games that make innovative use of the touch screen controller.

Well, it has to look cool to make a difference, a lot cooler than say, Hyrule Warriors. And whenever good games are released, no matter the platform, gamers have won.

I'm an insider and i've heard some rumors that the x stands for the mathematical symbol (the variable). So mortal kombat x is an educational game where you have to solve some differential and integral equations between fights.

Road Rash was great but considering how much games have developed after its release, I would hope the additions and improvements in Road Redemption aren't restricted to graphical updates.

I hope it's a good translation. The finnish language is part of what makes Kalevala for me ("Mieleni minun tekevi..."). Tolkien actually based his elvish language Quenya on Finnish.

But it can be a tad boring to read, especially because of the poem structure.

The Finnish epic poem Kalevala might be nice as well. It was one of the sources of inspiration for Tolkien's Lord of the rings.

Kalevala contains beings such as Louhi (a giant witch / eagle hybrid carrying hundreds of warriors), Iku-Turso (a giant sea monster), Ajatar (devil of the woods) and Loviatar (daughter of the god of Death).

Hehe, Kratos kicking ass and taking names all over the world. Hindu mythology would provide material for quite a many games since it has millions of gods. In contrast, Kratos & Christianity would be quite a short game. Just slay Jesus and Yahwe and it's time for end credits.

I bet he's a big Scorpion fan... "Yeah, uh huh, you know what it is... Black and yellow, black and yellow, Black and yellow, black and yellow..."

Wow, 10 disagrees so far, that's gotta be a personal record :D

I actually do listen to some rap artists like Wu-Tang Klan, Eminem, Jedi Mind Tricks, 2Pac, Jay-Z etc. and like I said, the song in the trailer wasn't horrible in my opinion but it just didn't fit the trailer.

The music in itself isn't horrible, it just doesn't fit with the footage at all.

There are about billion better choices of music for that trailer. My recommendations...

Man Eaten by Alek Szhahala

Navras by Juno Reactor

Ok trailer as far as visuals go but the fight choreography wasn't very exciting. And the music choice was really off. If you open "Navras" by Juno Reactor on a separate tab and play it while the trailer runs in mute the experience is a lot cooler.

For me, it felt like the controls of the game were the biggest enemy in RE (remake). After a couple of hours of playing I got so frustrated with the controls that I just gave up and haven't touched the game since. I'm a big RE4 fan though and perhaps I should give RE another chance.

My picks:

1) Red Arremer from Ghosts 'n Goblins / Demon's Crest
2) Toad from the Mario games
3) Krystal from Starfox Adventures
4) General Scales from Starfox Adventures
5) Bayonetta
6) Viewtiful Joe
7) Wonder Pink from Wonderful 101
8) Earthworm Jim
9) Zack from Zack & Wiki
10) Guardian from The Guardian Legend

I would hope that they start using real life actors for reference like they did in the 2D era. There's a bit of a plasticy feel in the gameplay of the recent games and some of the photoshopping of the character screens has been particularily bland looking.

I think the gameplay was very fluid at least in the latter games of the era. Here's a vid of komplete kontrol:

The Mortal Kombat games of the SNES era were and are amazing. I think they are still very playable and some of them even have quite decent visuals. Then something happened and the series lost a ton of its energy and grittiness. After the PS2/Xbox/GC era the series has gained a lot of its energy and grittiness back, but I think it could be a lot better if they had hired the right people.

Yeah, Uncharted is known for the exact same premise of time breaking down and the manipulation of time... or wait a minute, it isn't?

Actually, that was pretty poor satire. If you want good satire, read Devil's Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce. In it the word "Ass" is defined as "a public singer with a good voice but no ear".

I will print the box art and glue it on a blu-ray box and pretend that I own the game.
