Microsoft is absolutely awful at marketing their big games.
My OCD isn’t a fan of the top vent still being black and green with this creative, yet incomplete looking concept. Kinda kills it for me. Notice they don’t show that angle in their marketing photos because it looks terrible.

🙄 and you still don’t have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, Microsoft windows, anything to actually output audio…. This comparison and all others about cheap gaming pc’s are a joke. I know you mentioned the tv but for most that’s not the option… and this build will last you a hot minute before you’re alread...
This number isn’t impressive with 25 mil subscribers…in 7 months.
Again this goes to the point, engines evolve. UE6 will come out and push consoles to the max yet again next gen. Like others have said it is cyclical unless devs stop pushing the boundaries of what is possible…which none of us want.
It’s a $10 game that many won’t care about on a single platform for it to be worth making. Of course it’s going to be on everything.
Graphically this footage looks off compared to prior videos. I don't know if its the lighting or what but it doesn't have a "natural" look.
Worth it just for the quiet, non-clicky gamepad.

Agreed. The only people hyping it are Xbox fanboys. It is no better than other services out there. I wouldn’t play any racing, fighters, shooters or multiplayer games on a cloud service.
Anyone that actually cares about gaming will still need a console. Cloud gaming is still absolute garbage for anything that requires timing faster than Animal Crossing.

Not long. Starfield is not a system seller. I think people that genuinely care about Starfield already own an Xbox for the most part. It’s not a universal must have title, it’s a new IP that the general public has no clue about.
They don't have to catch them to be successful. It really comes down to optics though like you said.
You can't have it both ways. Spend more time making consoles like a mid-gen refresh with power but slim consoles are okay....which only come about because the tech has become more efficient, scalable and new heat dispersion designs can be developed within that smaller housing. You basically want a unit designed that will always be late to the party. Microsoft will never catch them. Like Phil said in his sad reports during the ABK dealings, losing so bad in the xbox one / ps4 error was a grave issue. Starting last gen people began really purchasing games etc digitally. Many of those 40 million now have purchases and claimed games tied to the PS Store. Will people sacrifice their libraries just for call of duty being cheaper on GamePass? Not likely. Microsoft can spend all the money they want but it will take way more than COD on Game...
Completely disagree. Bethesda has been part of Microsoft for 2.5 years. They have ample part in marketing at launch.
