I hate podcasts, it makes me listen through a bunch of guys I don't want to lesson to for just a few bits of information. As with books and all things, I much prefer reading instead. When people are writing, they can be artistic, but when they are talking to an audience that they think worship them, they are just a bunch of idiots.
No need to be so extreme. The only reason I didn't approve this article is because I think those of us without a Wii don't really have to justify it with a list that borders on propaganda. Just like how those who want it or have it can't be convinced of its flaws, those who don't want it can't be convinced that its virtues warrants a purchase.
Haven't we PS3 owners already been downloading trailers and documentaries for games?
If you understand Mandarin chinese, you'd know they did a really, really good job of capturing the targeted market of the Wii with these commercials. They both understood how the Wii balanced out the lack of excerise in kids and help promote family values. Just like how the Wii saw an opportunity, this company obviously saw one too in its success the the difficulty in maintaining IP laws in China.
I think it will come to all platforms. I just hope Crytek does a good job at the ports so we can all enjoy the game without needing to upgrade our PC yet again.
I think this could be a good idea. What I would like for all consoles is to have an alarm that reminds you to take a break for your eyes every half an hr. Time just flies too quickly when you are playing games to be good for your eyes. O_O
Damn, 360's Lost Odyssey is going to do very well in Japan. The real first quality RPG from Mystwalkers. I hope Uncharted does well as well, it's been awhile since an action adventure game came to the PS3 if there ever was one.
I agree with some of the stuff. I do believe Nintendo saw a great opportunity and ran with, it paid off, what more can anyone else say? It's not like a list like this will stop kids from pleading with their parents for a Wii.
Please calm down a bit, even I've seen both parties promoting their products through the use of idols. It's not something new and I doubt we'll ever see the end of it from either side. Only one that will never do this is Nintendo, since it will only tarnish its wholesome family image.
I guess that's why they still need time before they release it.
You know I thought so too back when I was a PC gamer, especially since most games you can get for "free". But after playing some PS1 games on emulators, I really came to enjoy them as much as I did anime and manga. Then when you look at all the oldies but goodies you can get from the greatest hits collection, you just have to get at least a PS2. Now once you have a PS2, there should be enough games to occupy you for several years. But once the PS3 library has been filled with sequel...
If they want respect (but I bet they prefer money) from PS3 owners, they will have to do a lot better from now on.
The story and concept all seem pretty good, as long as the gameplay and graphical performance prove solid, this should be one heck of an FPS. Though I've never been as much of a FPS person as I am RPG, I just might make an exception for this game.
What does this have to do with Sony? All that happened when GS gave R&C one of the lowest scores is a bunch of PS3 fans cancelled their accounts, which they had every right to. No one was fired, because it was just a protest at the ridiculous score. This time its about marketing versus journalism, a completely different issue.
I know from all your previous posts that you despise Sony and the PS3, but there is no need in trying to shift blame to it like this. The price cut w...
I've got all three of its predecessors on the PS2 recently, I'll get this as soon as I've finished those. It's really amazing how big of a gaming library gets opened up to you when you get a PS3.
That was a very good interview, it actually got me really excited about all the possibilities that the game provides. It really solves my problem of being a PC FPS user at heart so I can use a mouse and keyboard setup without having to upgrade my PC to enjoy good graphics.
I feel PS3 owners like me are partially responsible for the lower than expected software sales for the first year. I bought mine in the summer and have bought probably over three dozen PS2 titles from then on from Amazon, Half, and eBay. But as for PS3 titles I've only got Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, GHIII, and Rock Band.
I really feel the PS3's biggest flaw is the success of its predecessor. There are just too many good JRPG games which cost only a third of next gen games. Bu...
Depends on which free game you'll be getting, they have a lot of games. I hope they don't just clean out the back of their warehouses and send people misc games.
My Rock Band should be getting to my home by mid December, so I really hope I got a decent set of equipment. I really can't stand faulty hardware and software issues.
Same here. Even if HD-DVD manages to survive the coming battles, it will probably never assume the power it once had. Unless something drastic happens again, like them offering to offer a really large cash payment for one of the Blu Ray or neutral studios to cover the losses of switching to HD-DVD, this format war is just about over.
On a side note, IGN will probably be the main game review site now that GS probably lost its last few ounces of credibility.
The last few things I bought that were Samsung were electronics, so they are very similiar to Sony. They will basically be the exact opposite to MS, since to my knowledge they don't own any big software development studios. If they do make a gaming console, it might be interesting.
