It is the largest console to date and you will have to adjust. Ie taking a PS4 out of your entertainment center and just putting the ps5 there will not work if things were tight via room or other electronics.

Older game engines “should” perform better on the series x. Nothing that would scream advantage...
But as new engines and techniques are pushed... then the ps5 architecture will come into play.
But again... at no level of “ohhh this one is so much better”. Not going to happen.
After all, the anchor that is the series s will give no advantage to either console with third party games. Of which I feel was the point of said console

If we want to be “wow’ed” this gen....
4K should be of no concern.
I would even gladly take 1080p at 120fps. Even if the game was native 4K and 60fps.
The more images moving faster means a clearer image and far better sense of control.
I game using 1080p and 200fps at max settings. This makes me say wow as far as graphics go more than “4K”.
Do not get me wrong... IF 4K was moving at 200fps.....
Because there are people who live by marketing... and then there are your high iq consumers.

The PS4 was ahead of its time per the hdmi where as Microsoft had to release a whole other console to do what the PS4 was offering.
And by the results this far... Sony is not having the issue like the series x is per performance and resolutions... the hdmi only delivers the info. Cod is doing just fine with 120fps
