I always thought it would have been better to have its own lobby and maybe even coop support so that you could create content with others. It does feel out of place with how its implanted into the sp campaign.
lol yeah whats with 9/10? That got me excited until I saw 2.5 is its real score.
Haha nice I was just going ask where to get one of those.
Exactly what I thought. The E3 2011 demo shows off more of the new tech with the water and its similar to the train level in Uncharted 2. Like the train level in UC2, the boat the way it moves around is powered by the physics and not scripted.
Day old article.
All side quests and other side stuff were the best thing about Oblivion and Fallout 3. The main quest line have been the weakest part for both of those games.
That's what they are fixing with Skyrim. Side quests will connect with the main story and can play out different too. Same with characters you meet during side quests, they are all aware whats going in the game world so that it won't feel disjointed from the game.
It won't be any different from all other podcasts and interviews. He always gets asked those same questions and never gives a straight answer.
Most people won't be trying to make a full conversion mod out of this. Just for simple tweaks and making maps take no time.
lol what was last console game you played? I never remember to much framerate problems on the 360 version but it looks identical on the PC and it runs off on an older build of the UE3.
Even on the consoles there are far better looking games running on the UE3 that are running on the latest build (ME2, Arkham Asylum, Bulletstorm).
Its been known for awhile they were making a CoD version for China. MMO games and other online games over in China all use micro-transaction like this and its very big in profit for devs and compaines that run internet cafes. This isn't something new or trying to make Activision seem even more greedy. This is how online gaming is ran over China.
Its also harder for Chinese to get a hold of western games because a lot don't get published over their and so everyone plays them at...
CoD was a good series from the start though, not that Homefront was bad. It started out only on the PC so of course it would never pull sale numbers like that.
I just never see Homefront becoming that big. There is plenty of other upcoming shooters that have a better chance.
They delayed the US release. Comes out in two weeks for the US.
Do you really need a demo for RE4?
Cried up to be? lol okay. The game isn't that hard to follow but it doesn't to the best job connecting with the first game either. They ignored a couple main character that would have been nice to know what happen to them.
The rest of the review just seems to ride hard on it just because he has to be that review that does it and goes on to compare it to Far Cry 2.
FC2 for being an open world shooter has some of the most tedious gameplay. Every single checkpoin...
Really people are pointing stuff out like this? The vegetation with the grass you see on the rooftops is no different from any other game. It looks like that on the PC as well. The floating trash in the water is just a flat texture when you get close up to it but it still gives off a great of effect of looking like trash.
The quality and detail put into levels make up for that stuff.
When he worked for Bullfrog in the 90's that was some of his best games. Dungeon Keeper, Syndicate, Magic Carpet, classic PC games.
Never been a big fan of Fable and Black and White has been the best thing to come from Lionhead.
Well not four but plenty of devs have separate devs teams when it comes to working on the multiplayer and sp campaign for a big game. (Raven is doing MW3 multiplayer). They will also outsource to other devs to help with the ports for like the PC version.
I don't use Facebook/Twitter but all other stuff they have brought on like Netflix and ESPN works great. If you have problems texting like when you use Messenger, then buy a text messaging pad that hooks onto the controller.
His main complaints are valid though. Cars getting stuck on objects or random crashes. Those are the same problems with past games have had but it never caused me that much trouble. Big fan of the series so I'm still looking forward to this
I'm using the same $6 HDMI cable I got for a launch PS3 almost 5yrs ago that I also got from monoprice too. Never had a single problem with it and my PS3 in my main player for watching DVD's/Blurays.
