This isn't the first whiff of HL3 finally happening... so it makes me wonder if it actually will.
Yay for indie developers! This one sounds interesting.
I have to say I wasn't surprised Skyrim took the top spot on the critics list, but was surprised by some of the other games that made the best/worst of each list this month.
I haven't upgraded yet but it looks nice based on this video.
Yeah, gives time for the bugs to be patched, too!
I don't plan on buying a Vita right away, but this preview did make me want one more than I did before. I also agree that it's a shame Sony is still doing the same crap they always do with their memory cards, but there's not much to be done about it.
Despite looking like a PSP2, the Vita is a pretty sexy little handheld.
Even with the bugs and a seriously lack of time on my hands, I still have Skyrim-envy... lol.
Wow, that was fast. Looks like Amazon is sold out again already!
Ah, OK. Good to know.
Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like the PS3 version of games is often the one with the most problems. I don't say this to disparage against the system - I actually play most of my games on PS3 - but I just find it interesting. Especially in light of the PS3 problems Skyrim has been having. Is it just my imagination?
I don't really play games like MW3, but I could see how fans would get frustrated if they're getting the exact same thing every year with no improvements.
Personally, I don't have a huge amount of sympathy for a lot of the complainers, because the best way to see change for something like this is to vote with your wallet: if you don't buy it, you aren't one of the 6.5M sales that tell Activision "we don't need to change anything, b/c people will b...
Considering what we saw with project $10, I would be surprised if we see more of this "a la carte" mode situation with other games. It has potential to be great for gamers--but it also has potential to be abused (as we've seen with day-one DLC and online passes). I honestly hope this doesn't turn into the "pay for the ending" type of crap, and stays something that benefits both gamers and publishers. Obviously, only time (and gamer purchasing habits) will tell.
Looks like this year's GOTY will be interesting.
Lots of great games released in October, and more to come now in November. If only I could ask for more time for Christmas!
I really want to get this game for my nieces for Christmas. They loved Kinectamals and I think they'd enjoy playing this with their father.
If you read the review, he gives it a 2 based on the fact that it really doesn't offer much to those who played DR2 already. If you haven't played the first game, he gives it an 8.
Personally, I really wanted to like DR2, but the combat was too annoying. I actually liked the multiplayer a lot, even though it apparently is dead.
Yeah. I'm trying to hold out for the PC version, but this review is making me think about getting the PS3 one this weekend...
He's not reviewing the game, just stating his opinion based on the first three hours. There's a big difference. Everyone can have an opinion, and who knows, by the time he finishes the game, he might say, "Hey, my first impression is wrong." Man.
Yeah, definitely has some good options for either the buyer (or the receiver) on a budget.
